托福口语30分攻略

托福口语评分时,最先考察的一点是: intelligible, 就是说你的表述内容是否可以顺畅地让考官一次性听懂,如果这一点做的不够的话。那就基本上是20以下的成绩了。

那对于这一部分同学 你们需要去纠正一下发音,提升自己的发音吐词的清晰度和标准度。以及语法基础的薄弱 比如: 口语表达时人称混淆使用,时态转换毫无概念 等等 都要花时间去补一补。

这个阶段的同学,如果备考时间较为充足的话,建议暂时不要报班上课,先打好基础,补缺补差才是当务之急。

如何去打好口语基础?

(1)回顾语法

(2)纠正发音

(3)积累主动词汇

(4)记忆常用句型,动词短语&固定搭配(推荐 Collins English Usage & Oxford Phrasal Verbs Dictionary)

(5)下载wikipedia ,用它来积累日常话题和百科知识的英文语料。让你以后遇见某一个话题 心里有想法 有话说。

(6)请主动去口头造句 (边背单词 边造句) :这一步也是最重要的,前面5步是为这一步做铺垫!

造句请想好你应该用什么词汇;时态;语态;动词短语;以及句型。还有主谓一致这一规则也要注意!

对于那些口语表达易于理解,而且分数在20-23的同学,口语其实讲地还算可以,然而距离24+的分数还是有一些差距。希望突破此瓶颈的,需要在以下几个方面去努力!

(1) logic flow 逻辑思路

(2) example & details 例子细节

(3) lexical 用词表达

首先什么样的内容表达叫做思路清晰,怎样做到思路清晰?

其实思路清晰并不是加几个 transition words (firstly,secondly...)就可以了。关键看你前后表述是否联系紧密。

比如下面这一口语真题:

-10-15 CN What is the purpose of your phone? (1) Taking photos (2) Listening to music (3) Recording the lectures

比如你要说 你用手机主要用来听音乐的!那么你应该如何组织你的思路和内容呢?

首先说出你的选择:Listening to music

其次说一下你手机具备的features & audio performance, allowing users to hear music the way it was intended with rich,accurate and detailed audio reproduction. 或者其上百 gigabytes的存储容量 以及超便携性 Ultra-portable 可以存储上千首歌曲供你随时随地去欣赏。

最后说一下你最大的爱好就是听音乐,无聊时听,坐地铁时听,健身时听,所以你的手机完美地满足了你的需求,所以你用手机是听音乐的。以此作为点题!

所以这样的答题逻辑是非常清晰 非常易理解的!(1)我用手机主要听音乐(2)我手机的音频性能表现很棒 而且存储容量大 便携性也很好(3)我特别爱听音乐 生活中少不了音乐 随时随地 都会去欣赏 所以用手机来听音乐实在是不二之选。(4)点题。如果时间快到了的话 那就不用说这部分了。

再换句话说 如果你主要用手机来拍照的,那你应该如何组织你的思路和内容?有兴趣的可以试着去思考一下。

当然了 这样清晰的逻辑在短时间内组织好 实属不易。这就需要大家平时去多训练!而且有些语料表达 如何做到信手拈来 需要大家平时去注意细心积累。常见话题的语料的积累 不要老是想到去背段子。自己要动手去搜索 去摘录 去记忆!

所以说!做好口语表达的logic flow并不是简单地加几个连接词就可以了的,比如firstly... secondly...

其实没必要的,你心里知道该说啥 以及 如何把想法表达地清楚易懂即可!我教过的学生之前都跟我反映说一战考口语时 特别是独立题 说到30秒那里 心里就慌了。。。不知道说啥好了。然后接下来十多秒时间修修补补地说了几句 勉强把45秒撑完了!我认为这是前期缺乏训练的结果!没有注意去训练逻辑。本来肚子里的英文语料就不多,再加上没有清晰的逻辑 去回答问题。很容易就会出现想到哪儿 就说哪儿。 我个人认为独立口语就相当于小作文!

如何去训练呢?我觉得有一个月以上备考时间的同学 你们可以这样去做:

(1) 每天早上 或者上午 利用琐碎时间,打开最近几年的独立口语真题库 task 1&2。

快速看题 然后 关掉手机屏幕

在脑海里构思答题思路和内容

(2)构思内容时, 请精确到思路(前后内容做到衔接紧密 过渡流畅)和语言表达(用词,时态,主谓一致,动词短语,句型)

(3)构思的时间,要注意

比如 前5天时间 你要求你1~2分钟把内容想好

那么 接下来 渐渐地你要求自己60秒构思内容

渐渐地 要求自己30秒之内把内容想好,直到你看到题 就可以很迅速在脑海里搜索到相关的语料素材,并组织好思路。

(4)每天5~10题 (Brainstorming)

(5)当天再挑选一个时间段把在脑海里构思的那几题回答 大声地说出来 并录音。

(6)有口语老师的同学,让你们的老师给批改一下你们的录音。

以上训练方法也是我的学生们正在实施的,效果很棒!

之前口语老是在20分左右徘徊的,如今口语都考到了24+。

第二部分:关于example & details 这一部分 如何去准备

如果你想口语突破24 或者 26 的话!

因此在这一点上,你需要去追求这样的层次:你说出来的内容在趣味性,真实性,多元性,和细节性上 可以甩其他考生好几条街!

什么样的例子素材算好?并且具有一定的区分度?

大家来看这一题:Describe an interesting experience you had in a restaurant or cafe.

很多同学看了这题不知道怎么答,有的想到用鸡汤文里的 比如把咖啡洒在别人身上之类的例子。

而我在上课时给学生的素材:麦当劳北美地区实施的一项活动:

“McDonald's is going to start accepting a new form of payment, starting feb. 2, the chain will let some customers pay for their food with different forms of what the chain calls “lovin',” which could include selfies and hugs.

因为我也曾被有幸选中过,点餐不要钱。拍了张自拍 当是付钱了。很有意思!

回头来分析这一素材的特点:有趣,真实,接地气,最重要的是贴近美式生活与文化。

较好的利用这一素材去答这一题,至少在内容上可以甩大陆其他考生好几条街了。

因为追求口音土著这一目标短期很难实现的,更何况对于大部分考生时间上并不是非常充裕,所以最后拼的还是内容,所以对于托福口语而言: 言之有物远大于口音土著

如何去搜寻积累各个话题的语言素材?大家需要利用好这几样工具:

Google Search; Wikipedia; Yahoo News ; About.com; wikiHow.com; lifehacker.com; huffpost.com

第三部分 :关于 lexical 用词表达

其实这一方面 以我的考试经验,ETS 对这一方面要求并不很高。你只要把你的意思表达清楚,不犯常见的语法错误,用词合适并且较为丰富,句式不需要复杂。比如在描述经历的时候多用几个动词来描述当时的画面感 就可以了。在这里推荐两本书 给大家去参考学习:

(1) Collins Cobuild English Usage 分话题 分场合 帮助你选对词 造好句

(2) Oxford Phrasal Verbs Dictionary 帮助你提高语言表达能力,掌握好那些短小精悍的短语动词。你的造句能力就会得到大大提升!

关于口语综合题(task3~6):首先大家需要掌握好适合自己的复述结构,了解哪些信息点是考官希望听你说出来的!然后一定要开始疯狂限时训练 (限制时间60秒)

篇2:托福口语攻略:口语怎么用

一.口语模板如何使用?

虽然托福考试题目有一定的规律,但是即便是总结出考试的规律和套路,也需要考生做大量的练习来适应这样的套路。托福口语考试的前两道题套用模板可行性较高,但是后面四道题却还要考察考生的阅读和听力,如果没有听懂材料,即便是背了再多模板也是没有用的。所以后面四道题要求考生在使用模板时必需拥有良好的基础,保证自己能够听懂听力内容。

二. 模板使用中的问题

套用口语万能模板是很多考生在短期内突击考试时所选用的方法。这样“临时抱佛脚”或许会产生一些效果,但是也会出现一些问题。比如,模板肯定不止一人在背记使用,所以当太多人都去用同样的模板时,就会产生大家说的都是同样的内容,而使考官失去了新鲜感。而且很多考生在考前并没有做相对应的准备,所以造成很多时候考生拿着模板生搬硬套到一个题目上,导致了驴唇不对马嘴的情况的发生。所以对于万能模板的使用还是要谨慎,要经过自己的仔细甄别。

三. 构建自己的答题模板

套用万能模板会出现很多问题,但若是考生能够构建自己的口语答题模板,那么答题效果就会好很多,也能够让自己在考试中迅速反应作答,避免出现卡顿。那么,考生该如何构建自己的答题模板呢?

构建自己的答题模板首先要对口语考试中常考的题型有足够的了解,熟悉了题型才能有针对性地组建自己的答题模板。然后,考生要针对各个题型做大量练习,在练习中组建适合自己的口语答题模板。

Well, personally, I would say school should reward students who are active in doing social volunteer work. Actually, university is not merely about sports and academics, and frankly, we have paid too much attention in these areas and it seems like we downplay the importance of volunteering. Voluntary activities should be a big part of university life, one should be compassionate about others, especially the unlucky ones. One will feel like they are needed by the community and having something to offer back to society gives them a sense of purpose.

Step1:STUDENTS SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION FIRST

第一步:考生要先了解托福口语试题问的是什么

One crucial point to be able to speak logically in the test is by making sure that one truly understands the question or the problem that needs to be answered or solved. If the answer that one gives is not even related to the question, then the answer becomes totally illogical. Even if all the grammars, dictions and even the choice of words are carefully said, the whole thing becomes nonsense. As they say, human beings were created with two ears, two eyes and one mouth because God wants us to listen more, see and observe more and speak less. In the medical field, doctor should be able to find the sickness first before being able to prescribe the right medicine. To be able to give the best solution and answers, students must be able to know and understand what the problem or question is.

要让托福口语有逻辑很重要的一点是你要真正理解问题的含义,知道应该如何解决问题,处理问题。要是你的答案跟问题毫不相干,答案就等于完全没有逻辑性。即便语法啊,发音啊,措词啊都很好,但是整个答案毫无意义。人有两只耳朵,两只眼睛,一张嘴,所以你要多听,多看,少说。医生也是要先找出病症才能对症下药。同学们一定要先理解问题是什么。然后才能给出最好的答案和解决方案。

Step 2:LEARN TO ORGANIZE YOUR THINKING AND IDEAS

第二步:学会组织的你想法

I often hear students say “oops! I put my foot into my mouth again.” Students often speak words that they would regret later on once they are able to take the time to really think of the whole thing. Students often end up making the wrong decision or saying things that they would regret later on when they allow their emotion especially if it is negative to control them. To be able to speak logically requires a lot of brain power that is why it is logic. In the book of proverbs it says “as a man thinketh, so is he.” This simply means, students are what they think. During their idle times before the test, what students can do is think of questions, scenarios and situations of TOEL speaking test, then also think of the most logical answer that they can give. It is during this time that student’s brain is functioning more and not their emotion and adrenalin. They can process and practice everything properly without pressure. When the time comes that they come face to face with these questions, then they are prepared to answer confidently and logically because they were able to organize their thinking and plan ahead of time about the answer.

同学们常常在事后,等到有时间重新回想的时候再后悔。尤其是在充满消极情绪的情况下,同学们常常做出错误的判断,说出错误的话,等到平静下来以后非常后悔。想要把话说得富有逻辑性是相当费神的事。在考前的空余时间里,同学们就应该思考问题,想想新托福口语考试的场景,想想如何有逻辑性地回答问题。此刻,同学们的大脑胜过了情绪。能够毫无压力地练习。由于事前已经把想法组织好,一旦面对考试问题,同学们就已经准备好富有自信和逻辑地回答问题了。

After organizing ones thought, students should practice on how to deliver their organized thing king and ideas out loud to themselves and, if appropriate, to a few others. Do it out loud because the words always come out right in your head, but if you have to speak them you'll catch some problems before hand. Most of the time students know what they want to say but when they say it out will be quite different from what they had thought. Do it again repeatedly. Keep doing it until you are comfortable and improved. Rehearsing is also a good way to build a student’s confidence in speaking. Practice makes perfect, it can really give student an ideal score in the exam.
