How was your day off? 重点、难点: 1. 复习一般过去时 一般过去时主要用来表示过去发生的动作或状态。常与表示过去的时间状语连用,如yesterday, last week, three years ago, in 1978, a moment ago, just now. a. be动词过去式的句式。否定句是在was/were后面加not,was not (wasnt)/were not (werent)。一般疑问句是把was / were提前并放到句首,要求首字母要大写。 b.实义动词过去式的句式。①肯定式:主语+动词过去式+其它。 如:They had a good time yesterday. ②否定式:主语+did not(didnt)+动词原形+其它。如:They didnt watch TV last night. ③一般疑问句:Did+主语+动词原形+其它?肯定回答:Yes,主语+did.否定回答:No,主语+didnt. 如:Did they have a meeting two days ago? Yes,they did. / No,they didnt. ④特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其它?如:What time did you finish your homework? C. 关于过去式的规则变化 规则动词过去式的变化可速记为直、去、双、改四字诀。 ①一般情况下在动词原形后直接加-ed。如:wanted,played。 ②以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,去掉e再加-ed。如:hoped,lived。 ③重读闭音节单词需双写最后一个辅音字母再加-ed。如:stopped。 ④以辅音字母+y结尾的动词变y为i,再加-ed。如:studied,worried。 规则动词过去式的'读音也有规律可循。请记住:清后[t],元浊[d],[t] [d]之后读[Id]。 ①清辅音[p] [k] [f] [s] [F] [tF]等后,ed要读[t]。如:worked,finished。 ②元音或浊辅音[b] [g] [v] [z] [m]等后,ed要读[d]。如:lived,called。 ③[t]或[d]后,ed读[Id]。如:started,needed。 D. 不规则动词的变化有许多,在这个单元中我们首先应记住以下几个: 1. go -went 2. take-took 3. have-had 4. buy-bought 5. eat-ate 6. see-saw 7. hang-hung(悬挂) 8. meet-met 9. win-won(赢得) 10. sleep-slept 11. put-put 12. come-came 13. wake-woke(醒) 14. read-read 2. 1b Listen and circle the expressions in the box. (变得)等词在英语中可用作系动词,后跟形容词作表语。如:

The music sounds very sweet. 这音乐听起来很入耳。

The smoke grew heavier and heavier. 烟雾变得越来越浓了。

三.知识结构

○1. 注意sometimes与几个形似的词的区别。

(1) sometime是副词,意为“在某个时候”,“某时”

Will you come again sometime next week?

(2) some time是名词词组,意为“一段时间”,做时间状语用

I will stay here for some time.我将在这呆一段时间。

(3) some times是名词词组,意为“几次,几倍”

I met him some times in the street last month.

上个月我在街上遇到他好几次了。

(4)sometimes 是频度副词,意为“有时”

He sometimes goes skateboarding on weekends.

他有时周末去滑滑板。

○2 time意为“时间”时,为不可数名词。 意为“次数,倍数”时,为可数名词,

What time is it?

I go to the movies three times a week.

注意“次数”的表达方法

一次 once, 两次 twice,三次或三次以上用基数词加上times:

three times、five times、one hundred times.

表示“……几次”的表达方法是:

once a day/ a week/ a month/ a year

twice a day/ a week/ a month/ a year

○3 same与different

1.same指“相同的”,前面通常要有一个定冠词the,但是如果same前面已经有this,those等词,就不能再与the连用了。如:

We are in the same class. 我们在同一个班级。

结构:the same as 与......一样 如:

His mark is the same as mine. 他的分数和我的分数一样。

2.different译为“不同的”,其后的可数名词应为复数形式。如:

We are in different classes. 我们在不同的班级。

结构:be different from 与......不同 如:

This sweater is different from that one. 这件毛衣与那一件不同。

different的名词形式为difference, 复数形式为differences。

○4 hard / hardly

hard: hard既可作形容词,也可作副词。adj. 辛苦的,困难的 adv. 努力,使劲地

He had a hard (adj.)time in the past.

It's a hard (adj.) question. (=difficult) 这是一个难的问题。

The boy studies very hard (adv.). 那男孩学习非常努力

He works hard. 他努力工作。

句子结构:It's hard for sb to do sth 做某事对某人来说是难的。如:

It's hard for him to finish the work. 完成那项工作对他来说很难。

注意区分:hard work 困难的工作

work hard 努力工作

hardly是频度副词,表示否定的意思。(=almost not)通常用在形容词、副词和动词之前。hardly: adv. 几乎不,简直不

I can hardly see it. 我几乎看不到它。

He hardly works. 他几乎不工作。

It hardly rains here, does it?

○5 how often / how long / how soon / how far

how often: “隔多久一次”,指动作的频率,答语常用often, never, twice a week等表示频率的副词或短语。(用于一般现在时或一般过去时)

How often do you go to the movies?

Once a week. / I never go to the movies.

how long: 1)“(延续)多长时间”,回答用for+时间段或since+时间点。(用于各种时态);2) 询问物体的长度。

How long is the Yellow River?

How long have you learned English?

I have learned it for 5 years.

I have learned it since 5 years ago.

how soon: “还要多久才…,多久以后”,答语常用“in+时间段”。(用于一般将来时)

How soon will she come back?

She’ll come back in an hour.

how far: “多远”,询问距离。

Can you tell me how far it is from here to your home?

How far is it from your home to our school?

It’s 2 kilometers away.

Ask several students to say some of their questions and answers for the class. 教学后记: 教学方法有问题? 教了这么多年的英语,总幻想有一种方法,能让学生轻轻松松把英语学好。哪怕自己多浪费点时间。有时想来,自己的教学效率实在是太低了,每天不分上课上自习,都是一个样。也就是说在不误课的情况下,我的教学时间应该是学校规定时间的两倍,然而教学的效果却很不理想。每天看着自己的队伍步履蹒跚的前行,自己不由的怀疑自己的教学方法。 与此同时,这段时间由于我在学生每天记十个词前,先领读他们一遍,再分开音节,讲一讲英语的拼读规则,发现学生的记忆效率大大的提高,这更让我有理由怀疑自己的教学方法是不是不适合学生的实际? 吃早饭时突发“奇想”,是不是给学生一点时间,让他们把每单元几句重点句背下来更好呢?单词需要积累,这点勿容置疑。对于我们的学生来说,典型句子同样需要积累。句子背下来,在用的时候就可以举一反三,就像语文中背范文一样。对于我们我们这些基础较差的学生来说,他们在交际时需要模仿,在他们的记忆库中贮存就是十必要的。当然,如果学生能够在课堂上用英语去表达的'话,说明这些典型的句子他们已经掌握。但现实的情况是,这种方法更容易适用于尖子生,或者基础较好的学生,很多学生只是充当的观众。 让学生死记硬背是不对的,但不让学生背也是不对的。 2a This activity introduces the terms across from, next to, between, and on.
