1) which 从句——6分保底。
考官很喜欢这个句式，如果你用到它，考官脑中一般马上反应：嗯，这个考生语法也许在6分以上。Which从句可以分成两种情况：修饰先行词和修饰前面整个意群。
a. 修饰先行词：
例：Where are you from?
I’m from Shanghai,which is the biggest city in China, located in the east coastal area.
这里的which修饰的是先行词Shanghai。大家可以把这个句子背下来，因为在口试当中，问到where are you from?的可能性还是很大的。其实，除了这个题目外，还有很多题目的回答可以用到这个句式，大家可以具体去发现。如：what’s your favorite dish? 答：My favorite dish is Stirred-fried shrimps, which is a Shanghainese local specialty。

2) 间接引语——简单，但是好用。

3)条件从句——8分句式。
例：If I hadn’t got his advice on how to prepare for IELTS tests, I’m sure I would have met with big problems(part2 describe a piece of advice).
这个句式的基本结构是：

[来源：新东方作者：王佳虹]今年10月30号在西郊利物浦参加的这场考试，最后总分为8分，各分项分别为：听力9阅读8.5口语7.5写作6。
从分数中可以看出来，我的英语听说能力比较好。阅读一般，但是在掌握了做题技巧的前提下也获得了不错的成绩，英语写作一直是我的弱项，虽然第二次分数考到了6分，但是在以后的学习中应该加强这方面的训练。
我想结合自己的经验来谈一谈雅思听力和口语如何备考。我认为我的听力和口语能考好，靠的是两个：好的练习方法和说英语时的自信。
很多人看到我听力考得很好，都会问我有什么心得，其实不瞒大家，听力对我而言曾经是一件非常痛苦的事情。记得才开始做雅思听力的时候，我总是听着听着就听不懂了，感觉语速很快，只能抓住几个单词，并不能理解听力材料的意思。咨询了苏州新东方学校VIP的老师过后，老师推荐我做“精听练习”和shadowing“影子练习”。所谓的精听练习其实就是听写，把一段听力材料反复听，边听边记，把所有能听懂记下的内容全写好过后再对照听力的文字稿，这时候就会发现自己很多问题。比方说，有些单词因为不认识所以听不出来，有些单词明明是知道的却拼错了，有的连读没听出来造成了单词的缺失等等。剑四到剑七所有的听力材料题我都听写了一遍。一开始听剑四错误非常多，但是越到后面就越好，到剑七时基本上已经很少有大的错误了，这样看得到的进步增强了我做听力的信心。
我一般晚上做这个工作。第二天起床后，我会对前一天听写的材料进行shadowing“影子练习”。所谓的影子练习就是MP3中放这段材料，开始3-4个单词后，我从第一个单词起跟着重复听到的内容，保证所听和所说有3-4个单词的时间差。这就要求我们“一心两用”，一边要听，一边要说，而且由于听和说之间有3-4个单词的时间差，所以还考察我们的瞬时记忆能力。我感觉这样的练习给我带来的最大的好处就是：做听力时，有时候两个空格离得非常近，很容易顾到了前一个就顾不到后一个。有shadowing练习之后，即使第二个我没有刻意地去听，但是我可以在脑海中复述出刚才听到的那句话，然后从里面提取有用信息，因此就不会出现顾此失彼的现象。
我认为这两个练习对我听力提高非常有帮助，一定要坚持天天做这两个练习。可以说就是在这两个练习的帮助下，我可以听懂的东西越来越多，到最后基本上听力材料就可以完全听懂了，前后也不过3个月的时间而已。
都说听口不分家。听力好了口语自然也好起来了。其实我的口语一开始比较一般，虽然我很愿意说，但是肯定达不到7.5分的水平。真正的提高也是在对雅思听力材料进行“精听练习”和“影子练习”之后，每天的听写和复述练习使我对听力材料已经非常熟悉了。众所周知，雅思听力有很多都是日常对话，不知不觉我学到了很多生活化的`口语表达。同时听力中也不乏学术讲座和介绍性的独白，我们可以借鉴他们的表达方式来回答口语考试中对事物的评论和看法，而且相信这对以后去了国外大学做presentation也有所帮助。可以说至此我的口语也有了质的飞跃。
关于考口语考试我还有一个体会就是，面对考官时，不管讲得好不好，一定要表现得自信大方，不卑不亢。有些同学考口试容易被考官影响，因为虽然雅思考试的考官都是经过培训的，对口语评分也有统一的标准，但是不同的考官性格不同风格也不同的。有的考官是“笑面虎”，看起来态度非常友好；有些考官看起来就比较“凶”，好像很严格。事实上我们没有必要被考官的态度所影响，因为你遇到了友好的考官不代表分数一定高，而遇到了貌似凶一点的考官不代表一定会给你低分。这是我亲身的体会。
我第一次考试的考官非常友好的，当时我很紧张，因为第一次考没有经验，所以心里压力非常大。那次考官是个中年男人，笑嘻嘻的看起来很友好，他看出我比较紧张，所以在开始录音前跟我先闲聊了几句帮我缓解压力然后再进行考试。考完后我很开心，庆幸自己遇到了好的考官。然而分数出来却并不理想，是比较普通的一个分数。事后我分析原因我觉得是因为当我们表现得战战兢兢的时候，我们给考官传递的信息是：我的口语不好，我自己对自己的口语都没有信心。这样的信息并不能博得考官的同情，相反的，他在打分的时候会考虑到你缺乏自信，分数自然而然就打了折扣。
相反的，这次考试我遇到了可怕的“黑面虎”考官。其他考官都是在外面笑容可掬地“迎宾”，等学生来了之后带进教室考试，我的考官在教室里调空调，我进去也没有跟我打招呼，脸板得死死的，也不笑。有那么一瞬间，我慌了一下。但是很快我知道没什么好慌的，该考的总是要考的，他也不会因为你慌慌张张的就给你高分，所以我迅速调整状态，我想遇到这样的考官更要表现得自然大方。于是我主动和考官打招呼进行自我介绍，回答的时候全程保持微笑，声音响亮，以此给自己壮胆。虽然考第二题的时候脑子真空了一下，2分钟并没有讲满，最后停顿了约有十几秒钟，但是整体来说还是正常发挥的，没有受考官的影响。最后取得了7.5分。
我相信每一个8分后面都有十分的努力。首先我们要掌握好的学习方法。当我们遇到学习瓶颈时，不如问一下老师有没有好的方法可以帮助我们有效度过瓶颈期。还有一点就是有了好方法自己一定要坚持练习。光靠老师上课讲是没有用的，很多练习要靠我们课后一丝不苟地去完成。只有这样，才会有好的收获。这就是我的一点小小的心得体会和大家分享。最后祝各位奋斗在烤鸭前线的战友们都能取得满意的成绩！

It is this second, fuller, concept of 'fatherhood' that I am in favour of, although I also realise how difficult it is to achieve sometimes. The economic and employment situation in many countries means that jobs are getting more, not less, stressful, requiring long hours and perhaps long journeys to work as well. Therefore it may remain for many a desirable ideal rather than an achievable reality.
