其次就是练习了。作文一定要自己动手去写。如果不动手写，只靠背写范文和美句，就会在考场上有无的放矢的感觉。不管积累了多少好的句子，只有在自己的作文中准确无误的写出，才是真正的属于自己的。考研作文题材非常广泛，基本上压不到题，所以各种题材的作文都要练习。在考试的过程中，如果遇到类似的，或者你准备在其他的题材的作文中某个句子和短语，用在了考场上，那么这就是胜利。练习各种题材的'作文，主要是给自己积累一些专用术语。比如：去年我写过一篇关于教育的作文，我就想到了素质教育和应试教育，通过写这篇作文，我学会examination- oriented education和quality-oriented education这两个短语。在写一篇关于环境保护的作文时，学会了滥砍滥伐（clear-cutting）和环保意识，水土保持等等这些短语的英文表达。在一篇关于描写城市交通的作文中，又积累了关于高峰时间的两种表达（rush hour /peak hour），这也是写作的一个小技巧，即在表达同一事物的时候，用不用的表达方法。向这些都是我平时作练习时从书里面摘抄下来的，那本高分作文20天突破挺不错的，里面的内容很全面的，涉及了各个方面的练习，我觉得应该买一本试试。你会发现好的文章同一个核心词汇不会出现两次。当你掌握了这些很地道的英文表达，作文自然就会得心应手。在练习的时候，一定要想方设法的用上自己所积累的好的句子。那这种强迫变成了习惯，你就会觉得写作的思维也会随之改变。只要一落笔，就是那些美的句子，有了这种感觉，自己就会变得很自信。
最后就是关于一些谚语的应用。一篇文章如果在开头和结尾处用上一句谚语，那就是画龙点睛。所以平时背一些谚语也是有必要的。去年，我在练习时积累了这样一个谚语，united we stand，divided we fall.这个谚语的意思是，“团结则存，分裂则亡。”参加过去年考试的人都会知道，这个句子恰恰是翻译的最后一句。当我看到这个题目的时候，当时心跳加速，想都没想轻而易举的拿下了！在这里我只想说对于英语的学习，贵在积累。虽然，我在练习作文的时间很长，可是却是受益匪浅。其实现在觉得作文还是比较好拿分的，只要是用心的去练习，成效是非常明显的。
