一本综合性写作指导书，内容丰富，全面，新版增加了综合写作的章节，应该是国内新托福写作指导性书籍中的首选。

一本“短小精悍”的写作指导书，内容上比上面的“挑战满分”精简很多。
二、范文类书籍
1、《TOEFL iBT高分作文》
李笑来的一本范文集，收录了对应全部TWE185作文题的185篇范文。有考过G作文的朋友可能会说里面的文章论证不严谨，但其实相对于G作文，T作文对逻辑的要求并不像G作文那么高，另一方面，也有人指出这本书里不少文章的语言有点“Chinglish”味儿，不是特别地道，但对于写作基础不好的“非牛”来说，可能这种语言风格更适合拿来模仿和入门。
2、Answers to all TOEFL Essay Questions
这是海外出版的一本TWE185作文集，文章数有400多篇，基本每个作文题目都有2-3篇文章。也许是文章过多的缘故，风格上比较多样，不少文章相比李笑来范文，有些“洋味儿”，思路也和中国学生爱用的传统思路不太一样。当然，文章水平可能也有参差不齐的问题，少数文章中可能有细微的语法错误(细微错误是ETS能接受的)，但总体质量还行，可以拿来参考。
3、《TOEFL全真题高分作文》
胡敏主编的一本不错的作文书，网上常用的称呼是“胡敏绿皮书”，书的主体是150篇旧托福作文真题的范文，另外也有一些写作上的建议，和常用词汇、句式的总结等。书内范文风格相比传统的严谨议论风格，要显得自由些，可能是三本范文书中最接近OG上范文风格的书籍。

Should governments spend money on art，when they have so many other important issues and concerns?You should write at least 250 words. You should use your own ideas of knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Many people‘s lives are richer because of art—music， paintings， calligraphy， pictures， sculpture， poems and dance. However， some people feel that governments should be spending money on housing， medical care， or defence， instead of on art. This essay will discuss whether governments should or not spend money on the arts.
There are several reasons why governments should not finance artists. First of all， artists should have to follow the same rules as the rest of the market. If there is a demand for their music or sculpture， then they will be rich. Secondly， politicians generally do not have good taste. They will waste public money on popular art or on their own preferences. But the main reason why governments should minimize spending on the art world is that there are more important areas like housing， roads， hospitals， and factories which need the money first.
However， it would be wrong to say that governments should not spend any money at all on art. Everybody needs some beauty in their life， but not everyone can afford a Picasso or a piece of music. Governments should provide money for museums or concerts halls for everyone. Another point is that art allows people to express themselves and this is good for society， culture and thought. Thirdly， artists can be good for the economy by producing music， film， and attracting tourists.
All in all， governments should prioritize their spending carefully， but they should also allocate some of their budget for art. It is part of their duty to society and to future generations.(258 words)

It is more important for the government to spend money to build art museums and music performanc.
Times witness our great progress which has been made in daily life. People are paying much attention to improving all qualities of life especially with the help of art museums and recreational facilities. But which one is important? Government should build art museums or swimming pool and playgrounds, in my opinion. I believe they are equally of importance to people.
On one hand, art museums and music performance can benefit us a lot. Specifically speaking, there are three-point advantages. Firstly, they are good ways to relax ourselves after too much business. There is no doubt that people are facing more stress than before. For instance, in some organization, consultancies company or investment banks, people who work there are always confronted with difficult tasks that needed to be completed in short period of time and so they have to work not only in daytime but also at night continually. How wonderfully they enjoy themselves in art museums or music performance after work! Secondly, it is an opportunity that artists or musicians can communicate their works in art museums or music performance. Besides, as is well known to all, any work of art and music convey thoughts, ideas and feelings so that audiences can get this information from works. Thirdly, art museum and music performance would bring us economical benefits, because selling tickets to visitors or listeners would make profits which could not be ignored.
On the other hand, recreational facilities play an important role in our daily life. They help us not only with health but also with teaching us a lot of lessons which could not learn from text book. By sporting, for example, we can learn more about persistence as is good in quality on the way to success. And in the games, none of us could always be a winner. It has been found, by a recent survey conducted by a prestigious US research facility, after polling thousands of college graduates between 20 and 30, that people who like sporting in college are more likely to accept the failure and adapt themselves to the changes in all aspects than people who don’t like sports. The former would be more likely to succeed in doing something than the latter in the coming days. In this way, we find it really necessary for recreational facilities to be built within community.
In short, it is impossible to determine the relative importance of art museum, music performance and recreational facilities. Thus, a wise government should build both of them.

“叮咚叮咚”伴随着上课铃声的响起，令人期待的“百问百答”活动正式拉开了序幕。
在装满题目的圣诞盒礼，每个题目像小狗似的等着我们来认领。终于到我了，我将手徐徐的伸进盒子里。
“15号。”我一边上台一边打开纸条。“19课用了哪些描写？”吕卓远拿着纸条振振有词地讲到。我不禁紧锁住了眉头，脑子里的知识像过山车一样飞速旋转着。突然，我眼前一亮，答案填充进了我的整个脑子，“是语言、动作和引用！”我毫不犹豫地说出了答案，获得了我梦寐以求的掌声和两张班币！我弯了一下腰，兴高采烈地下去了。
我的好朋友王依诺抽到了我的题目，我当然高兴。一上去就抑扬顿挫地念了起来。王依诺的脸像个调色盘，从白色的豆腐脸，变成了红红的西红柿。后来王依诺说出答案。原来，她在确定答案呀，真厉害！
接下来就是朱博闻了。他那原本笑哈哈的脸，一下子就拉出了三条黑黑的蚯蚓。原来他抽到了背诵《七律・长征》。
他像一个泄了气的皮球，缓缓地说出了古诗：“吴岭逶迤博细浪。”他没说完，就引得全班哄堂大笑――原来他读错字了。

科学是人类认识世界的的工具。许多以前很多人困惑的自然现象，现在看来不过是简单的'常识而已，这便是科学的力量。妈妈为了让我以解更多的生活常识，就给我买了《儿童百问百答（物理、化学篇）》这本书。
这本书是韩国人写的，作者是安英柱。这本书一共分为两大篇：物理篇和化学篇。而且为了方便小读者更好地理解里面的内容和知识，还安手插了大量的漫画，不仅让我丰富了知识，还经常使我捧腹大笑。书里讲到了许多生活中我们常遇到的，但又不知道是什么原因的现象或是常识。比如：什么是力？物体为什么会往下掉？有没有撬起地球的方法呢？雪为什么看起来是白的？碳酸饮料为什么会感觉很冲鼻子？橡皮擦为什么会粘在尺子上？肥皂为什么会那么滑呢？人在一天中要吸收多少氧气？盐是怎样制成的 ….. 等等
其中我最喜欢的两篇是：《力是什么？》和《盐是怎样制成的？》现在我知道了力是使物体改变形态，使静止地物体运动，或使运动的物体改变速度或方向的原因。地球上所有的物体都是受重力、摩擦力、弹力、阻力、浮力等力的影响，而周而复始地静止或是运动的。原来盐是海水流到蒸发池再到结晶池，利用蒸发、加热、冷却、提纯的方法得到盐晶体。然后再不断地重复，结晶的次数越多，结晶体纯度越高，盐的质量也就越高。
读完这本书，我觉得自己快成为一个小小的百事通了，很是沾沾自喜，可妈妈却说我的这点知识好比大海里的一滴水，根本算不了什么。只有从小认真学习、谦虚、上进，我才有可能成为真正地百事通。
听完妈妈的一番话，我暗下决心，一定要认真地学习，做一个真正地百事通！

一提到科普读物，对于科学毫无兴趣的人的脑海里一定会马上浮现出“无聊”、“死板”这样的词，一向对科学一窍不通、提起专业名词就傻眼的我也不例外。正因为如此，平时看到科普书也常常是避而远之，更别提好好静下心来读了。可是，前段时间妈妈莫名其妙从网上买来的一套科普书让我对它的同类改变了看法。
这是一套通过漫画形式来呈现的科普读物。在这套书里，看不到复杂难懂、让人头晕的长篇大论。作者选择通过简单而幽默诙谐的语言和漫画来向我们讲述一个个小故事，然后再由这个故事引发出科学问题，最后用一小段话总结。
拿这本书中的一个小故事举个例子：“某个奇怪学校里的小猫老师，经常喜欢用指甲“吱吱啦啦”地划黑板，全班听到后都毛骨悚然。由此，一个问题不由得从每个人心中萌发：划黑板的声音为什么让人感到刺耳？经过大家的讨论和查阅最后仅仅得出这样一个结论：“划黑板的声音和猴子的悲鸣很相似，说不定这种声音会让我们想起我们的祖先遇到野兽时的嘶叫。这和声音的高低大小有关。”虽然并没有真正挑明，但这反而更加能够激起读者亲自去试验、发现的欲望。

我很喜欢动物植物，也喜欢看一些动植物的书籍和电视片。最近我看了一本有关有毒的珍稀动物的书《百问百答》，读了以后很有感想。
我一直都很喜欢各种各样的动物，觉得它们是那么的可爱，我也知道自然界有很多有毒的动植物，可我怎么也没有想到会有那么多。臭名昭着的黑寡妇就不用提了，它的毒液只要一点点就可以让人立刻毙命。有一种海洋动物叫鬼鲸，听到这个名字你就觉得害怕。它长得也非常可怕，它能神不知鬼不觉的突然出现袭击猎物。非常的恐怖。除了这些，身上穿着漂亮衣服的红箭蛙有毒，我喜欢的蜥蜴居然也有毒，太让我失望了。更让我想不到的是，象小铃铛一样低垂着头像个害羞的小姑娘一样的铃兰花的果子和根也有毒的.。
看了这本书，我就在想：是谁发现了这些有毒的动植物的呢？他们可这是太厉害了！以前我看了一些科学家探险的电视片，我觉得他们都和勇敢，他们不怕困难，敢于面对各种庞大的危险的动物，研究各种各样的动植物，让人们更深地了解大自然的更多秘密。我很佩服他们！我长大以后也想向他们一样成为一个动物学家，探索更多的未知之谜。

虾、蟹煮熟了为什么会变红。
我们都吃过大虾和大蟹，他们的味道鲜美，是我们餐桌上的美味佳肴。
买来的生虾和生蟹都是青灰色，可是，把它们煮熟就呈现红色了，这是为什么。
原来，这是一种叫“虾青素”的红色色素在起作用。许多有壳的小动物，也有这中虾青素。这种色素大量而广泛地分布在自然界中。
是虾、蟹等甲壳类动物活着的时候，色素都是和蛋白质结合在一起的，所以不显颜色。
而在蒸煮的时候，由于受热的缘故，色素蛋白质发生变化，色素被分离出来，虾和蟹就变成红色了。

我一生中看过许多漫画书，其中我认为最好看的书是《百问百答》，作者是道奇胜。
在我九岁那年，有一次去咏文书店，看到一本这样的书，就缠着妈妈给我买。妈妈终于答应了，于是我满心欢喜地把它带回家，看了起来。里面有两个主人公，一个是刺头，一个是肥猫，两个都爱惹事生非。
接下来的一段时间内，我又让妈妈买了人体和宇宙。在宇宙里面有一位新人物――开智。我相信他取这个名字是为了开阔眼界，增长知识。
在百问百答里面，我不仅会看到一些刺头和肥猫之间的诙谐幽默的故事，还会和开智一起了解新知识。晚上我常常顶着头灯和他们一起睡觉，我真想有更多的时间和他们密语啊！
