篇1:雅思口语Part2话题答案
I am going to talk about conversation I had with someone I met on the flight to Paris.
Unfortunately, I did have the chance to ask his name, but thought our conversation on board, I knew that he is from the USA and graduated from Harvard University.
Well, he is a very sophisticated and experienced business who is running a IT business in China, However, all our topics are round education, which I found really stimulating.
We exchanged our opinions on what appropriate schooling should be . He said that there is no consensus on what constitutes a sound teaching methodology. However, as far as he was concerned, that fine schooling, from primary-level to tertiary-level, has some common characteristics. For example, he asserted that advantageous education should encourage student to think independently and critically, and empowers them to evaluate their teacher performance openly, as opposed to force-feeds students and render them only capable of spitting back predigested ideas.
The reason why i thought it is an interesting conversation is that I learnt a lot through talking with him. From another angle to analysis what education should afford to our offspring.

篇2:雅思口语Part2话题答案
I grew up very far from most of my family so I only saw them once a year. Every summer I would go to stay with them, while my parents continued working. Although I missed my parents, I used to really enjoy spending time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. I spent all summer there, nearly two whole months, so from time to time my cousins and I would get bored. We would ask my grandparents if they had any ideas for interesting things we could do. Sometimes they suggested going for a bike ride, sometimes into town to do some shopping. At other times, they showed us a new game to play. Then we were happy again.
One day - it must be about 12 years ago (doesn't time fly!) - all of us got really, really bored and we kept complaining to my grandparents. They were tearing their hair out, trying to think up ideas of where we could go and what we could do. Suddenly, my granddad came up with the idea of going to a new water park that had opened that summer. I hadn't heard about it but my cousins had, and they told me all about it. It was a park with vast numbers of different pools, some inside, some outside. There were water slides as well. And, on top of there was not one, but two playgrounds with swings, a merry-go-round, see-saws. We were so excited.
We set off and on the way we were all singing songs and laughing. We couldn't wait to get there. When we arrived, my cousins and I ran into the park and changed into our swimming costumes. Then we went looking for the most exciting-looking pool, and we found it, one with brightly coloured tiles and slides, we jumped straight in. We played all day in the park and had a lovely lunch, sat on some benches in the sunshine.
My granddad loved a pool that was filled with spa water. It was dark brown and stank of rotten eggs. I didn't want to go in but he eventually convinced me. I'm pleased he did because the water was really warm. I'd never swam in water that warm. I didn't want to get out, despite the terrible smell.
I consider it such a happy memory because we enjoyed ourselves so much and I remember so vividly how I felt that day. But there's more to it than just that. When I look back now, I understand how caring my grandparents were and how much they wanted us all to be happy. They would have done anything to help us have a good time. I appreciate that more now that I'm older and have children of my own. I hope we thanked them; I can't remember. But, anyway, they were content, I'm sure, to just watch us have an amazing time, playing and laughing in the water. So, as you can see, it was a wonderful day and is one of my favourite childhood memories.

雅思口语Part2话题答案:a group activity you took part in
You should say:
what the activity was
who was with you
how easy or difficult it was
and explain how you felt about being part of this team.
参考范文:
Ok right then, well the group activity I’d like to talk about was actually an English speaking competition I took part in during my first year at university, which everyone on my course had to be in, so it was basically compulsory for us, otherwise I can safely say there’s no way I would have taken part in it, because at that time, my English really wasn’t that great!
But anyway, as for what we had to do, well, to begin with, we were all put into small groups of about four or five, and in our groups, we had to write a small play in English lasting about seven or eight minutes, and then act it out in front of all the students and lecturers on our course.
So regarding how difficult it was, well if truth be told, we all found it incredibly tough, at least in my group anyway, because none of us had ever written a play in English before, so it was a big challenge for us. But I suppose it was reassuring to know that everyone on our course was in the same boat, and thankfully we were helped by the fact that a couple of guys in our group spoke really good English, so if it wasn’t for them, I honestly don’t know how we would have done it!
Anyway, in the end, we managed to put something quite good together and actually ended up coming second out of about 10 groups, which we were really happy about, because we never expected to do that well!
And finally, with regard to how I felt about being part of this team, well I basically just felt super lucky, because firstly we had some really smart guys in our group, and it turned out that they were good actors as well, which was a big bonus! But probably what impressed me most about my teammates was the fact that, when we were running out of time to come up with something to write, they all managed to remain calm and focused, which was a huge help, otherwise we could have just panicked and given up. But we didn’t, and in the end we were able to succeed. So this experience has really taught me a lot about how to act under pressure in a group situation.

In February last year I was so lucky to participate in a reality TV program recording with my friends. The show named Super Brain was extremely popular in China and through this program we had the chance to explore something new in the fields we did not know before.
I still remembered that freezing afternoon, all the audience gathered at Nanjing International Expo Center. To my friend and me, this was a once-in-a-life chance so we excitedly discussed that we should take a lot of photos from the second we enter the studio hall.
Well perhaps plan never runs smoothly cause when we sat down in the fabulous studio hall we were informed that no one was allowed to take photos or videos during the whole recording process. The staff told us that some audience used to take photographs secretly and post them on the Internet ahead of the telecast just in order to steal the spotlight. They were proud to give away the spoiler but it was no doubt a nuisance to the television station.
Although I wanted to take just one picture as a memento and my friend also looked sad, we decided to comply with the rules and packed up our electronic devices. To be honest that night was still amazing and I enjoyed the show even though no photo was taken.

I’d like to share with you an interesting historical event that happened in Xia Dynasty. It’s a story in our history textbook about a stupid king whose name I couldn’t remember exactly. Anyway, this king married a queen who was drop-dead gorgeous, however, there’s one thing that really bugged him, and that is, his queen hardly ever smiled, and that’s how she got the nickname “Ice Queen”. The King racked his brains trying to find a way to make her smile, but failed every time. He even promised that anyone who could put a smile on the queen’s face would get a thousand boxes of gold. One day, someone at the court suggested that the king could light the warning beacons that are normally used to summon armies from surrounding states in times of danger. He explained, the queen must find it hilarious when the nobles arrived and realized they got played. The king thought he had a point, so he took the advice. And the guy was right. The queen did burst out laughing when she saw the nobles hurry to the court only to find that it was a false alarm. If you ask me, the king was so out of line, and the worst part is, he did the same thing several times to please his queen, and finally lost the trust of the nobles. When he was actually in danger, no one came to his rescue.
So you see, it’s kind of a funny and sad history story, and somehow it’s usually told as a cautionary tale of how one beauty can topple a country.

篇6:雅思口语Part2话题答案
I love to travel and being in a new place is quite a sensational experience for me. I have visited more than 10 countries and most of the famous places in my homeland. However, most of my trips were either solo or with friends. A few months ago I planned a very special trip that I would like to go on in the near future. I want to visit (... a sea beach name in your country...) and take my parents in this very special trip. The main reason this would be a special trip is because my parents would be with me and this would be the first time they will visit the largest sea beach in our country. Having my parents with me there would make it special. It's been more than 7 years when we had our last trip together.
Probably we will have this special trip in the next January. I will take few days off from my office and wouldprepare for the trip. This would be 6-8 hours journey and we would prefer to travel by train rather than bus. My parents are also very excited about the journey and they are also looking forward to going to this trip.
We do not need much preparation for this trip as this would be a short trip and we would be staying for only 4-5 days, I guess. We would only need to be concerned about the weather condition and pick clothes that are suitable for the summer season. We will start this trip from the city train station and our preference would be to book a first class compartment of the train. The train journey is usually pleasant in our country and we will have the chance toenjoy the scenic beauty on the both side of our route.
After we arrive at the destination, we will first reserve a nice hotel for us that will have the view of the sea beach. If we take the train at around 6:00 in the morning, we will reach there just before 2:00 pm, I assume. We will have our lunch and take rest for a couple of hours. In the afternoon we will go and enjoy the sea beach and stay for a couple of hours there. We will also enjoy the sea-foods from a renowned restaurant and get back to our hotel at night. During this trip, we will visit two other nearby famous tourists destinations and enjoy our stay there. We willbuy some gifts for other family members and relatives and enjoy the whole trip.
最新雅思口语Part2话题答案: an interesting talk or speech
Describe an interesting talk or speech
You should say:
1. When you heard it
2. Where you heard it
3. What it was about
4. And explain why you think it was interesting
Last term one tutor from the Department of Arts delivered a speech on campus; what differed it from other speeches or lectures was that the speaker was a man and the theme of that speech was ‘power of makeup’. I was numb with shock when I saw the poster; a man with exaggerated blue eye shadow and he looked quite confident.
On the day of this special speech, the hall was packed out. I even noticed that almost half of the audiences were boys. When the tutor stood on the stage, all of us were surprised since he just wore makeup on half of his face. He asked us how did he look and explained why. As a teacher who teaches painting he often hears that some girls in his department feel ashamed to say they love makeup for the reason that others may say they wear makeup either they want to look good for boys or they just feel insecure. At the same time someone who don't understand them will laugh in their faces. I realized that he delivered this speech just in order to express his thoughts that doing makeup was totally fine as long as it could make you feel better and confident.
What’s more, he invited some students to the stage and let them to recognize some cosmetics. All the people in the hall laughed because those boys made lots of mistakes for knowing nothing about that foundation, eye shadow and various lipsticks.
I considered it as the most interesting speech I ever listened to because of the unique theme and the courage I learnt from the teacher. No doubt to say I won't be too surprised to see some boys with makeup in our school; it's just a way to show one's attitudes towards life and we have the every right to do the things we like in an proper way.
最新雅思口语Part2话题答案: your favourite song or piece of music
You should say:
What kind of music it is
Where you usually listen to it
Why you like it
and say what kind of mood this music puts you in.
Sample Answer:
The song 'High Hopes' sung by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd band is a song I have loved always and would hear often for the rest of my life. Pink Floyds is famous for their progressive and psychedelic music and high quality lyrics. This song falls under the progressive rock music genre and was the 11th song of the album Division Bell.
I usually listen to this song in my computer and sometimes in my MP3 player with the head phone. In fact I am a great fan of this music band and most of their songs are in my favorite list. This song is specifically attractive for the music composition, lyrics and theme.
This song reminds the past and compares how greener and full of possibility it was. The church bell and the lyrics make an out of the world illusion that only people who love it would realize. Every time I hear this song, I can feel my childhood, the sweet memory and the greener town I used to live. This is song that opens a horizon for me to visit my past. I love this song from my heart.
This music puts me in a sad yet charming mood. I feel sad that the past days won't be coming back and I won't have that childhood charm anymore. On the other hand this song gives me a genuine pleasure of the memories of my childhood and all the friends and people I knew then.

and explain what you did when you were together
参考范文:
Just last week I spent some time with a child, in fact, it was my best friend’s son, Peter. He’s seven years old now and we spent some time together when his parents had to go to an appointment. It was basically a babysitting mission, a favour for my friend. I took my boyfriend with me for some help, and we both looked after Peter for the afternoon.
We went to my friend’s house and spent some time there catching up with each other before they had to leave. Then we took my friend’s son out to a park nearby where they live. He was really excited about going out. Apparently he loves going to this park with his parents so we thought it would be a good idea if we took him so that he wouldn’t miss his parents so much while they were away.
Anyway, we spent ages playing on the swings and climbing and just having fun, and he loved playing rough with my boyfriend, they were tumbling and rolling all over the place having a great time. I’m really happy that my boyfriend loves kids like this and is really interested in enjoying time with the6. m.
Watching him play with Peter was just like watching two kids playing together, I think he enjoyed the time in the park as much as little Peter did to be honest, maybe even more. My boyfriend doesn’t have any nieces or nephews in his family so it was all a bit of a novelty for him.
So after our time at the park we went to get some ice cream at a place close to the park. And after that we took him home to get him cleaned up a bit before his parents returned. By the time they got back he was ecstatic to see them again and spent ages telling them all about is adventures in the park and how good the ice cream was. He really is a super little boy and I love him very much.
I’m already looking forward to the next time we spend some time with him.

The best news for me up till now is that my parents finally stopped forcing me to take the college entrance examination, so that I could focus on the preparation for the IELTS test.
Well actually that’s a long story, and I’ll try to make it short.
Um… my parents are the kind of people who are like perfectionists, and I’ve always been taught that I need to do everything well, which is pretty stressful you know. But growing up in a typical Chinese family, I don’t have too much right to decide my future or the way I am taught, except for my decision of studying abroad, they are quite supportive and open-minded about this, actually.
But the thing is, although they both agree that I would attend a university in a foreign country, they still wanted me to take the college entrance examination, despite the fact that I won’t need the score of that exam at all. And their explanation is, that experience is valuable for every student in China, I’ve been studying for almost 12 years, if I don’t take the exam, then it would feel like I am missing out on something important. Besides, they argued that what I learned in high school is also useful after I go off to college.
So you see, for about half a year, every day after school, I had to finish my homework my teachers assigned, and then I needed to stay up late until midnight to prepare for the IELTS test, which, without doubt, made me exhausted not only physically but also mentally.
So I had a heart-to-heart conversation with my dad, telling him what I truly felt and how stressed out I was, and he realized that I just couldn’t take it physically, because during that time, I always got sick.
So after serious consideration, my parents finally gave up, which was really good news for me.

Last month my friend Susan and I had a special meal in a Japanese restaurant, which was strongly recommended by my colleague. That day was Susan’s birthday so we genuinely wanted to indulge ourselves in dining and drinking.
When we arrived at the place, we were informed that we needed to wait for about one hour since that was saturday. I supposed no one wanted to waste such a long time just before the meal. Susan looked a little bit annoyed while the attendant told us they could provide some snacks for us. We could even play cards to kill time. I saw some other guests enjoying the manicure outside at the same time.
After half an hour, we sat down in a booth. The attendant was so niceto recommend different dishes to us considering our taste and preference. When we almost finished the meal, two attendants suddenly came in and served a birthday cake on the table. Both Susan and I were surprised about what was going on, as we didn’t mention to them that it was a special day actually. One attendant said she heard us talking about the birthday when we waited and they were so delighted to present us the cake as a gift.
I’ve never had the same service in other restaurants before and all the attendants there were quite polite and considerate, they even sang the birthday song together with us and I really appreciate the service.
