1.学术

提醒大家公立大学不接受专科生申请，部分私立大学接受专科生。总体来说私立大学对你的经济支撑条件更看重一些。

3、其他材料

希望进入新加坡顶尖的30所小学、30所中学和5所初院的外国学生需要参加并通过新加坡教育部举行的统一资格考试。在通过该考试后，学生将得到教育部颁发的证明信，允许他们在这些顶尖的学校和初院，及其他学校寻找入学机会。无法通过该考试的学生也会得到证明信，允许他们在除这些顶尖学校外的其他学校和初院寻找入学机会。考试的课目主要是英语、数学和中文。录取了该学生的学校会在证明信上注明学生的入学通知或水平测试成绩，并寄回外国学生署。

For me the appeal of anthropology is that it draws on a wide range of disciplines, and that it combines theory with empirical study. Last summer I spent six weeks in the Andes teaching English to primary school children. I was living with a family which accepted me as a surrogate daughter while I was there, even taking me on their family holiday during the ‘fiestas patrias’. This gave me an invaluable chance to experience daily life in Peru. I enjoyed watching the rate at which my Spanish improved during my stay. I also tried to learn some Quechua. It was good to get a feel for the language as it is very central to the identity of the indigenous Peruvians of that area. The experience in highland Peru drew my attention to the wide and apparently unbridgeable gaps in wealth and existences of people that are living side by side but almost unaware of each other. Even with my host family it was strikingly evident that their friendship groups were almost exclusively held with other people of the same kind of economic and ethnic background. I am now reading ‘Linking Separate Worlds, urban migrants and rural lives in Peru’ by Karsten Paerregaard, which is a study of the social identity that urban migrants carry with them.

One afternoon a week I help archive in the small local history museum where amongst other things I am learning about the history of indexing and also about the way that museums and exhibits are arranged. I have just started a course in a circus school and work on Saturdays at an arts bar in London. I am excited about going to University and being in an environment where no one is afraid to think, or is constrained by boundaries created by learning just for exams. Having been involved in the Amnesty International team at school and in starting up the fledgling ecology group and school magazine I would like to continue to seek out and get involved in things that inspire, challenge and stimulate me.

From the beginning, I knew it would be an uphill climb to gain admission into a prestigious university. I have worked long and hard to get good grades in order for me to attend a university. I was finally admitted to the University of California Riverside. If I graduate from college I will be the first in my family. 新加坡留学要带的物品

一、衣物

新加坡在赤道附近，温度很少有低于20℃的时候，所以大家都不需要准备厚外套，带上一些实用的短袖长袖、短裤长裤、短裙长裙(女生)，和贴身的衣服就可以了。

Often Cleopatra is portrayed as femme fatale- as in the portrait by John William Waterhouse or Shakespeare who said a??other women cloy the appetites they feed: but she makes hungry, where most she satisfies.

She is often seen by historians as a seductive, potentially poisonous temptress, however this is not necessarily how Hughes-Hallet interprets her; to her she is plainer, more ambitious and less cruel. I think it is difficult to separate fact from fiction when it comes to ancient history and especially in this case someone as constantly redesigned as Cleopatra.

History has taught me to make substantiated judgments and to interpret and analyse external material as well as my own opinions. I find History intriguing because it gives me the opportunity to study the development of human society over a long-term. My inquisitive mind has further contributed to my enthusiasm for the subject and I enjoy working independently. But all three of my subjects have honed my writing skills, to be able to select and organise knowledge and communicate it coherently and concisely. More specifically, Sociology has been helpful in discerning social trends, and understanding something of the human psyche; and English Literature allows me to study works, in context. All these skills will enable me to read History at university.

I enjoy visiting museums and monuments of history when I have the opportunity. I particularly love the trench experience at the Imperial War Museum and more ancient history- such as the ancient human occupation of Britain - at the National History Museum.

I work well within a team, but also have the necessary attributes to lead if I am called upon, demonstrated in my active participation in my school's Charities Committee for the past six years, organising various charity events throughout the school. My work as secretary of the Charities Committee allows me to represent the school in the community and has taught me management and organisation skills. In school I have also been a keen participant in the orchestra in which I am lead violinist in school and also play for the borough. I have been involved in several school plays either back stage, in the orchestra or as part of the cast. Almost any technology we take for granted today involves engineering: from mobile phones to space shuttles, engineering certainly has an impact on our daily lives. Increasingly over the last few years, I have become drawn to engineering and the wide range of possibilities that studying in this field can offer. Modern technology always intrigues me and I find it fascinating to see how they function, especially with the intricate physics behind them. I believe that although it is important to determine how things work, it is perhaps more valuable to understand why they fail and use it to our advantage to construct better solutions. I aspire to become an engineer because I believe that I can make a difference to our lives, by creating solutions for the many problems that surround our world today.

After embracing a larger interest in engineering, I decided to broaden my mind by reading about different engineers such as James Watt and Edison. They both inspired me as they dedicated their work to improve living standards at the time, which revolutionized the way we lived. In July I attended a Headstart course at Loughborough to discover more about this field in general, and it has further secured my opinion that I want to be part of this area of expertise. Working at Steve Leung's Architects in Hong Kong last summer has provided me with a sound opportunity to gain an incredible insight into the areas of architecture and structural engineering. Although it was hard work, I enjoyed the challenges by solving them with scientific and mathematical ideas. Besides, I learnt to use statistical models to solve complex calculations, whilst developing teamwork and time management skills.

I believe that I am well suited to this field, as my subjects and thinking reflect the nature of engineering. Studying physics with the Advanced Extension Award has provided me with the core scientific knowledge needed. My innate logical thought enables me to apply this theory to diverse and practical problems, which I find challenging and enjoyable. Maths has given me numerous problem solving opportunities and allows me to apply usual concepts to solve unusual situations. Furthermore, by studying Design and Technology, I gained experiences with electronics, materials and CAD/CAM, as well as coping with large amounts of coursework. 运行时间从凌晨的5：30-凌晨1：00，一共有五条交叉的线路，互联进行勾连，能够通往岛上的各个地方，大家只需要在购票的时候，确认好自己的目的地即可，使用绿色、红色、紫色、黄色和蓝色进行区分。

二、公交

公共的巴士路线设计同样也是很密集的，基本上可以和底线交通进行对应，但是由于受到交通的影响，载客量会比较小，不过也是很方便的选择，比较适合想要观赏沿途风景的出行。

三、出租

舒适度的，自然还是出租车，不过相对应的，它的价格也是最贵的，所以其实在新加坡打车的人其实不算多，而且打车需要线上叫车，在路上是不会有空车供大家招手即停的。

打车的起步价还会有平时、周末、夜间和早晚阶段的差异，基础上15元，然后是25元，要么总费用贵50%，或者贵25%，会根据行程和时间进行收费。
