快到中午了，从厨房里飘出的一股股诱人的香味，像一个神奇的小精灵，搅得我心神不宁，它又像一根隐形的手指，牵着我来到了厨房。

妈妈今天烧什么好菜？原来妈妈又要做土豆泥啦！以前我吃过一次妈妈做的土豆泥，那味道美得让我连连夸奖妈妈的手艺好。唉，看看妈妈究竟是怎么做的，说不定我还能帮上忙呢！妈妈从蔬菜篮里拿出两个“圆头圆脑”的土豆，它们看起来特别大，嘿嘿，那么大的个怎么会变成土豆泥呢？我带着好奇要看个究竟。

妈妈先把土豆放在水里洗干净，用刀切成一块一块后，直接放进高压锅里烧起来。我奇怪地瞪大了眼：“咦，土豆皮也能吃吗？”妈妈笑了笑，说：“皮怎么能吃？等一会儿还要请你来剥皮呢！”大约过了十分钟，又一股香味扑鼻而来，寻着香味望去，妈妈正把一盘熟透了的土豆从锅里端出来，我急忙赶过去帮忙剥皮，可妈妈却又把热腾腾的土豆放到水龙头下淋了淋。

“怎么又要洗了？”我忍不住叫了起来。妈妈摇摇头：“不是因为脏，是太烫了，不好剥！”原来是这样！我拿起已经冷却的土豆，很快剥好了皮。

而且还知道了为什么要等土豆熟了以后再剥皮的奥秘。接着，妈妈将我剥好的土豆放在砧板上，把刀平放在土豆上，轻轻地一压一碾，不一会儿，土豆便成了一团“泥样”。

哈哈，真奇妙！土豆泥是用这样的方法做出来的呀！我在一旁拍手叫欢。我也学妈妈的方法，边碾边说：“妈妈，想不到做菜还有这么多窍门呀，看来要想干好家务事也得动一番脑筋啊！”妈妈点了点头，拍拍我的肩：“对呀，这就是日常的生活经验。

今天你在厨房里收获不小吧。”最后，妈妈把土豆泥倒进平底锅，铺上黄油，撒上盐、糖、五香粉，浇了点水，盖上盖烧了起来。

“吃饭喽！”一眼瞧去，饭桌上最显眼的菜就是那道土豆泥，它令我垂涎欲滴，盘中的土豆泥金灿灿的，犹如一只只黄色的小鸟。我又在上面放了一些番茄酱，它立刻变成了一朵朵含苞欲放的茉莉花。

不得不说，科技已经非常发达了，没有电脑，只有光脑，在心里想，光脑就能接收脑电波接受指令。想去哪里只要乘坐飞行器就可以以音速到达了，更高级的还有超光速呢！世界各国在200年前就已经被华夏的科技威慑下给签下了和平条约，世界处处是幸福。沙漠也看不见了，已经被“净化器”给净化成了绿洲。淡水的问题也解决了，科技成功将海水大批量的过滤成淡水了。食物也解决了，只要撒下“特质食物果种”，就能像哆啦A梦一样从树上摘下里面有各种各样的食物的果实。非洲没有难民，世界没有战争，比起365年前的世界，现在真是美好！不过，我不能再写了，我要去睡觉了，要不然我的曾曾曾孙子又要催我了。

They persevere and overcome all obstacles.

To me, the way to success is to figure out what you truly believe in and love in life. You should write up a mission statement about how you can contribute to the world by doing what is meaningful to you. Then, you should go after your dream—no matter what it is or if it fits society’s version of a successful reality. Set goals, divide them into specific tasks, learn what you need to learn, do what you need to do and always keep the prize in mind. The way to success is to have a clear vision of your future and know what will make you happy. If you are doing what you love, with people that you care about, and making a meaningful contribution to the world, you will not only be happy, but you will be successful.
