虽然彭水只是个小小的县城，在中国的名气也不是很大，但就在这小小的县城里却塑造出许许多多的栋梁之才，有着数也数不清的风景名胜。以及各种各样令人馋涎欲滴美食。
我喜欢雪，喜欢她的洁白、纯粹、纯洁，尤其是她的包容性，将天地间各种声音吸尽，还世界一种静谧的姿态。在彭水，雪似乎是件奢侈品。只有在摩围山上，才能体验一场真正的冬季。摩围山是“千里乌江、百里画廊”上的一颗璀璨明珠。当繁花烂漫、千里碧海，瑞雪飘飘、百里石林逐一呈现在眼前时，你会惊叹大自然的曼妙，摩围山的如梦如幻，仿若仙境。飞云口是摩围山景区著名景点，由日、月两个观景台组成。日月观景台，形似日月，分居两侧，相隔百米。不同季节、不同天气、不同的云雾幻化景观；清晨云雾缭绕，能见度极低，随手一拍，都是灾难片！！！驻足月台，可以观祥云升腾，极目夜郎国故地，任脚下云舒云卷；位于飞云口最前沿的“日台”，其海拔高度为1452.2米，雄峙凸兀于数百米悬崖绝壁之上，在这里伫立凝神，可以拉长镜头探看千里田园风光，可以静听苗寨万家鸡鸣犬吠，更可取画笔涂抹一板苗乡之天光云影。难怪白居易写有“不醉黔中争去得，摩围山色正苍苍”的迷人诗篇。摩围山下色，明月峡中声。

我的家乡，位于旬阳县城关镇，小地名是吉家坡。我心里怀着挚痛的热爱，每个周末总想回去一趟。家乡是在一座大山里，在半山腰上，大多人家现在都已搬到山梁上的公路边，一家家都盖起了楼房。那里根本没啥旅游景区，因此，得知她的人很少，凡是上过学的人都有理想要走出深山，根本不想继续留在这贫穷的家乡，包括我的爸爸也是一样，现在也就只有爷爷在那里过着晚年生活。虽然我回到家乡次数不多，但我无时无刻都听见她呼唤我的名字，召唤我回去，我有时把手放在胸膛上，知道我的心是跳跃的，血液在流淌，因为我常常感到它在泛滥着一种热情。
当我想起儿时的往事时，我想起了那片苍翠欲滴的竹林，看到了我在做片竹林里玩捉迷藏，让爷爷编制灯笼，看坡头而出的竹笋。门前的大杏树枝繁叶茂，往年挂满果实，但今年遗憾没挂果实。仿佛看到了我上树找鸟窝的情景，我想到了大妈门前那一片油菜花，仿佛看到我穿梭在花丛里看花的样子。我想到了，我和哥哥在山上生火挖土，拿玩具枪打麻雀的画面。再加上一个个亲戚都疼我，我还想到了我在水库边游泳，钓鱼趣事，故乡是我童年的乐园。
