当大多数人风风火火地赴美留学时，准备读学前教育专业的高分留学生樊夕却收拾行囊奔赴多伦多的RYERSON，而不考虑美国。

先选专业再选国家

樊夕选择了加拿大多伦多的RYERSON读学前教育专业。她告诉记者，“我只希望读我感兴趣的专业，并在该专业中适合自己的学校里读书。相同成绩，为何只在美国挑选学校，而不去看看别的国家里更好的学校呢？”

在留学浩荡的队伍中，有此想法的不仅是她

郭新自小就举家移民美国，一直致力于人文学科的他，去年果断报考了法国所一高校。他认为，美国名校虽多，但也并不是所有专业都是世界顶级，至少就人文学科来说，许多专业的法国、德国文凭远硬过美国。

美国驻广州总领事馆数据显示，中国赴美留学数量将突破10万人。本报记者拜访曾留日的褚老师，他发现美国留学政策的利好趋势，使越来越多的中国学生紧盯名气最大的美国高校。虽然美国学费每年有5%的上涨，但赴美留学热度不减，往往他们先选定了学校，而后一心报考。“这有点本末倒置。”他强调，“留学要结合自己的专业，先看出国读该专业的优势，然后再以从小到大的逻辑顺序选择国家。因为选了这个专业，从而选择这个教授，因为选了这个教授，从而选择这所学校，因为该校在美国，从而选择了美国。”

谈到大学教育，记者从刘亮、留美读研的李凯及华侨石东升处获得的消息出奇地一致。李凯感慨地说：“申请大学时，由于报考美国高校的人中不乏人才，录取人数却有限，导致竞争激烈，一些优秀的学生因此失去了读好学校的机会，委身于众多的美国二流大学中。我的学长万康便是一例，找工作因遇一水儿的‘美国制造’，就业优势不再。”

此外，美国高校教学严格，学业密度与国内高中相似，很多学校毕业时都有30%-40%的淘汰率，读书的压力不小。同时和刘亮来美读书的同学就有因不适应而惜别校园的例子。结合她的经验，该不该去美国，主要取决于留学生的年纪、兴趣、心理承受能力、出国的目的等。

选校，美国不是唯一选项，其他地方各学校都在努力利用各种政策吸引潜在学生。留加硕士可直接申请移民，日本高校加大奖学金发放力度，韩国降低健康保险费……留学新西兰的Joy Wang希望通过记者告诉准备留学的人，投资教育多种多样，名校遍布全球，比如瑞典卡罗林斯卡学院、新西兰奥塔哥大学的医学专业相当强势，知名、全面的奥斯陆大学、卑尔根大学等北欧学府可减免学费。放开眼界，抛开美国，也许，名校离我们更近。

下面是我在德国留学生活念书的经历，看起来有点乏味，但我还是想讲讲。

我在国内也上过1年大学，我感觉德国大学生和中国大学生很不一样。知识上的掌握是一方面，人的精神面貌上差别也很大。

我们学校的德国同学，热情饱满，充满好奇心的学习态度总让我很羡慕。中国有句话叫“一股作气，再而衰，三而竭”，我看正好套在中国大学生身上。中国学生我相信小学中学基础是打得很扎实的，可是越到后面后劲越不足。

而德国学生读书，越到后面后劲越足，求知欲很强。德国人不管是教学还是求学，都高度自觉。老师给你很多机会，学不学是学生的事情，学校只是用考试卡你，考不过就毕不了业，如果三次不过，这个学校你就读不下去了，至少我们学校就是这样的。

德国教育一直以严谨和高质量著称，去德国留学德国的大学宽进严出。德国好的大学好的专业，想要毕业是有点难度的。难读的系，考试通过率极低。有几门课每次老师只放百分之二十到三十的人及格。这样的考试你有三次机会，如果你都不过就只能离开这所学校了。

我周围有个朋友前两次都没过，第三次参加考试，考前几天他压力大到生病，在我面前开始胡言乱语，我真的很难过。还有个朋友三次都没过，之后整个人性格都有些变了，只能转到其他容易毕业的学校去读书了。
