在人类还未出现时，生存在地球上的是一些动物，那时的生态、环境、河流都是最好，最清澈的。但是，渐渐的，人类出现了，刚开始，他们和其它动物们没什么差别，只会利用大自然的物品觅食。后来，人类开始懂得利用他们灵活的大脑与灵巧的手，组成了一个社会，竞争力也增加了，就从这时开始，动物们和大自然的世界末日也就此展开。
人类为了要有更便利的生活而任意砍伐树木，不但破坏了森林，使一些可怜的动物落得无家可归，因而死亡的下场，而且还滥杀动物，让很多动物成为“保保护类动物”，甚至绝迹，“云豹”就是绝迹动物中的一种。不过，并不是只有动物和自然受害，人类自己也是受害者中的一员，因为砍伐森林，造成土石松动，因此每次下豪雨时，住在山区附近的人们就得小心防范被泥石流埋没；由于大量的抽取地下水，造成地层下陷，下大雨时容易淹水；因为汽车、工厂排放废气，使地球的臭氧层破了个大洞，紫外线急速增加，天气越来越热，导致北极、南极的冰山逐渐融化，使海平面上升，低洼国家将被淹没；人类乱丢垃圾，使河流的下游成为垃圾堆，人类喝水没保障，鱼类也无法生存，由此可见，最好不要做出害人害己的事情。

咦，奇怪，怎么没有参天大树?小鸟一边看一边想。它在天空飞了一天，也没见到大树，腰酸背疼的它只好坐在一户人家的阳台上休息，此时它又想到了破灭的家园，想到了自己今天的所见，它猛然醒悟人类忽略了环境保护。它气愤地对天说对地喊:人类啊，你们乱砍树木，污染水资源，到最后吃亏的是你们自己!这时，这家小孩正好来阳台了，看见了小鸟。他问小鸟:小鸟妹妹，你怎么了，怎么愁眉不展啊?小鸟便把自己的遭遇告诉了小孩。小孩听后也很气愤，他灵机一动，对小鸟说:我们可以写信给总理，让他重视这个问题啊!说干就干，不一会儿，保护环境、从我做起为主题的倡议书就写好了，急忙投进了信箱。
小鸟在窗外见了，微微一笑，满怀希望的继续寻找美好的家园。
