1.“I was wondering if...”意为“我在想是否…”,谓语部分常用过去进行时,这一点大家需要注意。
2.英美关于楼层的表达方法不一致:美国和我国的数法相同,英国把一楼称为“the ground floor”,二楼起分别称为“the first floor,
the second floor.”。另外,“basement”意为“地下室,地下层”,指一部分或全部在地下、作为居住或工作的地方,另外也指百货商店的地下楼层,而贮藏酒或其他物品的地下室一般称为“cellar”,大家要注意区分。所以,电梯按钮中的“B”就代表“basement”,“F”代表“Floor”。

Always complete easy tasks, like reading a memo -- never switch between small projects. “The mind holds only about seven pieces of information at a time,” says Carnegie Mellon psychologist David Creswell. “If you switch to other tasks, those pieces of information get scrambled and need to be relearned.
