我所尊敬的一个人并不是一位才华横溢的人；也不是腰缠万贯的人；更不是一位顶天立地的盖世英雄。他只是一位默默无闻的校长。他，就是我的姨父——Mr·qiu。
他看起来是一个很有威严的人，腮边的胡子刮得干干净净，挺拔的身躯，浓眉衬着深深的眼眶，走起路来便如一棵高耸的大树。
我尊敬姨父，并不是因为他是一位人类灵魂的工程师——老师，也并不是因他的辈分，而是因他以身作则教育我的两件事。
七岁时的是我仍旧历历在目。那一次，我来姨父家做客，姨父十分热情的招待了我，由于我生性活泼好动，一不小心，竟把姨妈的花瓶给碰碎了。我害怕挨骂，便小心的收拾好花瓶的碎片放到角落里。中午，姨父沉下了脸，问：“小侄，你姨妈的`花瓶在哪了？”我支支吾吾，一句话也答不上来，姨父说：“侄子，不要因为害怕而把事情的真相隐藏起来！我小时候也是和你一样，折下了爷爷的甘蔗吃又死活不肯承认，最后被共处而被打了一顿。说吧，姨父会替你保守秘密的。”我这时竟鼻子一酸，哭了起来。姨父抚摸着我的头说：“知错能改就好，以后可不要犯了。”直到现在，我再也没说一句谎言。这是因为后来我得知姨父为了保释我，竟硬说花瓶是他自己不小心打碎的，还和姨妈大吵了一架。
还有一次，姨父知道我老爱花钱买零食吃，便在春节那天训斥我：“小侄，今年的压岁钱你可不能领了！”我很疑惑，便问：“姨父，为什么我不能领压岁钱？”姨父沉着脸，说：“你不老爱花些零钱买零食吃吗？那你以后就不要领压岁钱了！”我又问：“买零食怎么啦？那些零食有没有害处······”这时，姨父打断了我的话：“看来你还不知道零食有什么危害，那我告诉你，你这种想法是完全错误的，那些汽水别看外面好看，其实只有解渴一个用，而且里面的碳酸会带走你是体内的大部分钙，以后你就可能只有1米3了；还有那些零食，别看零食袋外面那么诱人，其实那些是哄人的！我小时也爱吃零食，有一次我吃到了一包‘三无’食品，肚子痛得翻来覆去，所说那些零食吃不得。如果你有零钱，那么就做些有意义的事情，比如看书、捐款······”我听了姨父的话，心中忽然恨起那些零食来了，顿时大彻大悟······
