I'm sure everybody is interested in dream, so I will share a story with you.

When we talk about dreams,we are so excited.We all have our own dreams,some want to be teachers,others want to be doctors,others want to be scientists.However,not all dreams can come true,as people always give them up for some reason.

A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. With a dream in the deep heart`s core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. A dream is an inexhaustible source of energy that keeps our enthusiasm burning, and kindles our desire to enhance our spiritual cultivation, refine our character, and upgrade our quality of life. A life without a dream is like a bird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond the range of its vision. On the contrary, a man with a dream is like a warrior armed with ambition, foresight and gallantry, daring to step into an unknown domain to make a journey of adventure. It is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spice to our life and makes it worth living.

I would like to take Liu Xiang as an example.Liu,as the first chinese man to win an Olympic track and field medal,dreamed of defending his Olympic title on home soil.To achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the training ground every day.What’s more,now and then he suffered injuries.However,neither the injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve the goal.Eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdle with his perseverance.

It is true that barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams,but remember success is hiding behind them.Instead of making dozens of excuses for your failure,just think about Liu Xiang’s story,hold on your dreams and never give up.

If you do not want your dreams to come to naught,then hold fast to your dreams and never give up.Just as the saying goes,”Do not,for one repulse,forgo the purpose that you resolved to effect.”

If you can do the following points,your dreams will come true one day.First,plant your dream in a fertilized soil.Second,water it with your diligence and give it the best food----knowledge.Third,remove the seeds of unhappiness for they can destory your dream.The most important is let the seed of your dream enjoy the beautiful sunshine,so what it can grow well.And however hard the situation is,o not give it up and always give it your best care.Then you will get a good harvest in the end.

Dreams are what we pursue for a lifetime,with many dreams,we have motivation to fight for our life.The opposite side of dream is reality.We have to face reality everyday,reality is what we perceive in our life.Reality always frustrates us to be successful.We need to balance them.

My great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher…

Everyone has their own dreams, I am the same. But my dream is not a lawyer, not a doctor, not actors, not even an industry. Perhaps my dream big people will find it ridiculous, but this has been my pursuit! My dream is to want to have a folk life! In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at least.

My dream is to become a successful stateman, helping those people who need help with their rights.Of course, to be a good stateman is very difficult, but I will do whatever I can do to keep everyone satisfied. five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.

in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.” but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.

those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, “when will you be satisfied?” we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I dream of being a doctor.

My mother is a doctor.

She always has to work extra hours and comes home late and tired.

I don’t know what that dream is that you have, I don’t care how disappointing it might have been as you’ve been working toward that dream, but that dream that you’re holding in your mind, that it’s possible!

Some of you already know, that it’s hard, it’s not easy, it’s hard changing your life. That in the process of working on your dreams you are going to incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain. There are moments that you are going to doubt yourself. You said, God why is this happening to me? I’m just trying to take care of my family, trying to give them a good life, I’m not trying to steal or rob from anybody. Why does this have to happen to me. For those of you that have experienced some hardships – don’t give up on your dream.

The rough times are gonna come, but they have not come to stay, they have come to pass. Greatness, is not this wonderful, esoteric, illusive, God like feature that only the special among can achieve. It’s something that truly exists, in all of us. It’s very important for you to believe that you are the one!

Most people they raise a family, they earn a living and then they die. They stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. Then a lot of people like to complain but they don’t wanna do anything about their situation. And most people don’t work on their dreams – why?

1. Is because of fear, fear of failure “what if things don’t work out“?

2. Is fair of success “what if they do and I can’t handle it?”

These are not risk takers

You have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people more than you know yourself. You’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you want to be just like them. You’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. I challenge you to spend time by yourself.

It’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. But people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. When you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!

I challenge you to define your value

Everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. It’s necessary that you align yourself with people and attract people into your business, who are hungry, people who are unstoppable and unreasonable, people who are refusing to live life just as it is and who want more!

The people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attach themselves to the and the people who are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!

If you want to be more successful, if you want to have and do stuff you never done before then I’m asking you to invest in you!

You don’t have to go through life being a victim. And even though you face disappointments, you have to know within yourself that ‘I can do this, even if no one else sees it for me, I must see it for myself!’

No matter how bad it is, how hard it gets, say to yourself, I’m going to make it!

I wanna represent an idea. I wanna represent possibilities. Some of you right now, you wanna go to the next level. You wanna be a civil engineer, you wanna council, you wanna be a doctor.Listen to me: You can’t get to that level. You can’t get to that level until you start to invest in your mind.

I challenge you to get to a place where people do not like or do not even bother you anymore. Why? Because you’re not concerned with making them happy anyway. Because you’re trying to blow up. You’re trying to get to the next level. Because you’re investing in your mind.

If you’re still talking about your dream and your goals but you have not done anything just TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

You can make your parents proud, you can make your school proud you can touch millions of peoples lives and the world will never be the same again because you came this way. Don’t let anybody steal your dream!

After we face a rejection and a “no” or we have a meeting and no one shows up, or somebody says “you can count on me” and they don’t come through, what if we have that kind of attitude that cause reposes, nobody believes in you, you’ve lost again, and again, the lights are cut off but you are still looking at your dream, reviewing it everyday and saying to yourself: IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL I WIN!

everyone has dream. some people wan to be rich,dreaming of millionaires overnight,other want to be famous,dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame.different people have different dream. of course,i've no exception. i love english very much.so i want to be a famous translator in the world.people all over the world can know me .

i never thought of my dream when i was a kid. later,my dream always changed. at that time i don't know what dream is. i haven't studied english at all when i was in primary school. so you can imagine how awful my english is. i think it is impossible for me to study english well. because i never read english words and english articles. i don't like english ,either. and i can't read the english well. but one day something changed , i have already changed my mind . i fall in love with english. i never give up ,although i'm not good at it. then i began memorizing words, making sentences and doing some reading every day. i know we needed to build confidence in the process of learning english. we must know “confidence can be gained with daily progress.”

i want to stand on the top of the world. now i can't requirement and it's not easy for me, but i'll study hard in the next two years. there is an old saying “where is a will,there is a way.” i think my dream can come ture. i believe “nothing is impossible” from beginning to end. it's very important to success.

Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,Im an athlete,Im so proud of that all the time .

Cold autumn has gone, and winter is coming. After the sports meeting, we have to be faced up to what we should face.

Perhaps, you all have been puzzled or you are puzzled. Don't you feel you don't really live substantially? That's because you have no aims. You can't find your dream! You are frightened about unpredicted future. You are afraid to fail. Dread will make all your effort empty. Just dreams, firm dreams which can be put in your heart deeply can help you cross darkness and let you reach a better stage.

Grade 1 is time to look for your direction.

Grade 2 is time to try your best to go on.

Grade 3 is time to calm down and pick up fruit which has grown three years.

On the way to catch up with your dream, we tend to meet many troubles. But don't give up what you ought to do is just believe in yourself. Nothing is impossible!

If you have no confidence about yourself, how could you go farther on your way? We need to face failure but don't escape. If you turn back before failure, you can just live in the present. But is that really what you want? We are young and we should struggle! Fire your blood with dreams! Light your youth with boiling blood!
