The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the society. As a student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.
First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago. It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof. In the library, it is hard to find so much “old” information. Another advantage to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. 我讲这个题目分两个方面，首先从正面来看科技对人的影响，其次从负面来看科技对人的影响。
从正面来看，科技对人的影响表现在这几个方面。
1、提高了劳动生产力
邓小平曾经说过：“科学技术是第一生产力”。我们也可以从我们的看到的得出这样的结论，科技的东西代替了人力和畜力。比如犁地有了机器后，犁地的效率是提高了很多。汽车有了之后，汽车的载重和速度都是人所不可比的。正因为如此，几百年前的英国人培根说了一个著名的话：“知识就是力量”。
我们国家自从鸦片战争以后被西方的列强用他们的洋枪大炮轰打之后，痛定思痛，向西方学习他们的先进的科技，“师夷长技以制夷”，直到现在都是如此，还在向西方学习。
2、改变了人们的生活方式
科技的东西进入家庭和社会后，改变了人们的生活方式。比如过去没有手表，现在有了手表，让人们有了时间的概念。再比如，原来煮饭通常是很麻烦的事，现在有了电饭煲之类的东西，做饭就很简单了。科技的东西方便了人们的生活，改变了人们的生活方式。
3、改变了人们认知世界的方式
过去人们认知世界的方式是见微知着，大多靠想象，《老子》里说“不窥牖而见天道”，现在人们有了先进的交通工具，可以坐火车或者飞机汽车等先进的交通工具直接到自己想去的地方。因为科技的原因，所以人们感觉现在的世界越来越小，地球逐渐被缩小到成为“地球村”。
以上是我对科技从正面来看归纳的几个方面，或许还有其他方面的，大家都来归纳。下面我说一下科技对人的负面影响。
1、科技造成了世界的混乱
比如说汽车的发明，汽车奔跑需要石油，所以人们知道了石油的宝贵，全世界都在争夺石油。中国和日本在钓鱼岛上的冲突，也是因为钓鱼岛周围的东海海域有够日本使用70年时间的石油。中东地区的争战也主要是因为石油。《老子》说“人皆知美之为美，斯恶矣”。说到底，就是科技的东西使人们的贪欲产生了，而贪欲正是造成整个世界动荡不安的原因。所以日本的思想家池田大作和金庸先生的对话中说：“要解决21世纪的问题，要用25前的孔孟学说和大乘佛法”。
2、科技对人体的损害
战争对人的损害是毁灭性的，它是在短时间之类毁灭人，而在我们的日常生活中，科技对人的损害是慢慢的，人们不容易察觉。
我们吃的蔬菜，现在喷施了大量的农药，这些农药被我们吸收后，使我们的身体抗药性变差，现在的城市里医院很忙，很多人都为病床而苦恼。而在农村的乡镇上，也是走几步就有私人诊所。这说明现在的人们体质是变差了。而我们吃的肉，现在不是要提高人们的生活水平吗？提高人们的生活水平不吃肉怎么行？所以现在的人们放纵自己的口欲，大量吃肉。有了需要就有市场，科技的东西乘虚而入，催熟剂大量进入肉类的生产中，原来可能要一两年才出栏的猪，现在几个月就出栏了。肯德基用的鸡翅，现在据说一二十天就可以从鸡蛋变成鸡翅。而我们吃的水果，从树上摘下来的时候大多不熟，因为熟了就放不了几天，所以还没熟就从树上摘下了，商人要卖的时候再打上催熟剂。这些催熟剂到了人体之中，造成的损害是非常大的，最主要的是性早熟。现在中小学学生谈恋爱的特别多，而高中大学女生在寒暑假堕胎的也特别多，这些不能说和科技刺激人们的贪欲无关。
3、科技改变了人伦的关系
人伦是人和人的关系，按照现在的说法，人和人的关系就是社会。五伦是父子、夫妇、朋友、君臣、兄弟。父子有亲，但现在是啃老族很多，现在有人说到中国是多民族国家，啃老族就是一族。夫妇有爱，现在的情况是夫妇之间离婚率很高。君臣有义，君臣是上下级之间的关系，比如企业领导和企业职工之间的关系。但现在是君无义，臣不忠。很多泄露企业秘密的人很多。朋友有信，现在的情况是朋友往往也是自己要防范的对象，因为不小心朋友就是敌人。兄弟有序，现在兄弟之间为利益的事争吵不休，甚至出人命的都有。
追根寻底，还是因为科技的东西使人们的贪欲产生了。贪而不得，则生嗔恨，贪而有得，则生傲慢。佛家讲五火：贪嗔痴慢疑。贪排列第一位，人们产生了贪欲就使人性最纯净的东西被物质的东西所覆盖了。有了贪欲，就有烦恼。有了烦恼，在没有获得正确的解决办法后就是一种对他人对社会造成破坏的负能量。
4、对教育的破坏
科技使人们不再相信万物有灵，所以对人对物都没有恭敬心。在家里，家长因为贪欲的趋使，都忙着挣钱，对娃娃的教育放松了，而没有放松的家长，在教育娃娃上也没有正知正见，这些使师生关系恶化。现在即使美国这样的国家，在中小学阶段也是非常混乱的，吸毒暴力色情在他们的学校很常见，而在中国，学校里的混乱大家有目共睹。
从上面两个方面说到科技对人们的影响，很多人要问：那么怎么对待科技呢？《老子》里说了：“故常无欲，以观其妙，常有欲，以观其儌”。对科技的.态度就是“虽有甲兵，无所用之”。科技的东西有了之后，不能在市场上出现。
