My beautiful hometown, where its spring scenic.
Spring, my hometown, green grass and flowers are in bloom. Out of the tree branches, birds singing in the merry. Looking around is the continuous mountains, mountains and rolling hillsides in the spring, as if a domesticated hen the carpet, until the sky. I like my hometown
My hometown is a remote but very beautiful place.
A small hill named Dongshan is located in the city center covered by lots of lofty trees reaching the sky. Several pavilions and temple are shaded by those trees. When a gust of wind is blowing over, they are eagerly showing their beauties at every possible moment.
Just the downward of Dongshan Hill there is a vast lake named Shihu where endless bluish waves are surging and hundreds of seagulls are as flying as singing.The lake firmly holds the hill just like a mother affectionately embracing her baby into her broad breast.
In between the hill and lake, there is a street spreading from east to west.
One day in May of 1949, the PLA (People’s Liberation Arm) liberated our town and set up new administrative organizations. This street was divided into 3 portions and named after Democracy, Liberation and Victory respectively.
Among them, Liberation Street was in downtown area with commercial prosperity. Lots of smart business men and artificers were gathering there. (收集整理)

关于故乡的英语作文wherever i am, i find it hard to resist the tempting call of my hometown. situated at the north-western tip of xin-zhu county, bordering tao-yuan county with a small winding stream is my old hometown, the humble and bleak fishing and farming village. the residents there used to make their living by fishing in their boats on the nearest waters of the taiwan strait. later, those boats were heavily outrun by modern ships. since then, life has never been easy for the villagers, as they have to live off the tiny pieces of land. i often feel that they are peasants rather than farmers. the village is famed for its windy weather, bad for farming but good for the strengthening of character. i can still recall how those salty winds howled all the way through my childhood. but as i now look back upon those tough days and drab rural lives, i feel blessed; i seem to have gone through the ordeal and am capable of facing any hardships. as i am growing older, in my heart, my hometown has become the symbol of the deepest nostalgia and stood for an everlasting affection. i, in turn, can always seek solace through visualizing my lovely hometown.

My Home TownMy home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

Lanzhouis situated in the temperate zone and enjoys a semi-arid climate (KppenBSk) with hot summers and very cold and dry winters. Mean annual rainfall is 315 millimetres (12.4 in), almost all of which falls from May to October. The winters are so dry that snow is extremely rare.
In regard to air pollution Lanzhou has some of the worst air quality of all cities in China. According to the Blacksmith Institute, Lanzhou is one of the 30 most polluted cities in the world, with its TSP (total suspended particle) rating 247% above that of the Gansu State recommendation. The air quality is so poor that at times one can not see Lanshan, the mountain rising straight up along the south side of the city. At one point, a controversial suggestion was put forward to bulldoze a mountain adjacent to the city, in order to let fresh air in to the bowl where Lanzhou is situated. It was suggested on the premise that the surrounding mountains block a free flow of air in the city. The city is located in a narrow river valley with an unfortunate curve causing it to be hemmed in with no free air flow. Lanzhou is also the home of many factories, including some involved in petroleum processing, and suffers from large dust storms kicked up from the Gobi Desert, especially in the winter and spring.
The reach of the Yellow River at Lanzhou carries a high load of silt, giving the river its characteristic muddy appearance; however water quality in this reach is better than the “fetid outflow that barely passes for water two hours downstream”.

盛夏，又一次回到留下我人生第一个脚印的村庄,以前都是来去匆匆，这一次我决心留下来，一如儿时，把我的村庄一步一步从东走到西、从南走到北、从白走到黑。
（一）
上午九点多，远远地就看见村口了，怎么听不见狗叫，故意加重了脚步，还是听不到。哦，原来狗都到城市里安家了，成了城里人的宠物了。
走进村庄的南头，就想起儿时村北头黑娃家的一头小牛犊撒着欢箭一般地向南边奔来，正在树荫下的草丛里啄食的无忧无虑的一群鸡被小牛犊的疯狂惊得手足无措，急的扑棱扑棱打着翅膀、叽叽嘎嘎的向敞开着的自家院门飞去，几只大公鸡竟然飞上了院墙，气得“喔——喔——”地长鸣。拴在院外树上的奶山养也惊的绕着小树转圈，不忘“咩咩”拉长声进行抗议。卧在门前凉圈里耕了一早上麦茬地的牛，懒散地抬起眼皮看一眼，继续扑闪着双耳低头反刍，不停地甩起长长的尾巴，驱赶着落在身上的蚊蝇。二婶家的小黑狗冲着小牛犊“汪——汪——”地叫了两声，可能看小牛犊不理睬吧，随后箭一般冲出去追赶小牛犊了。母牛看见小牛跑远了，急的“哞哞”地叫起来，小牛犊听见母亲的呼唤，一个急停，转身向回跑去，吓着了正在追赶它的小黑狗，立刻躲在柴垛旁，凝惑的看着远去的小牛犊。小胖家下了蛋的母鸡“咯咯哒——咯咯哒”使劲的炫耀着。
今天，我故意放慢脚步，由南向北从一家家地门前走过，一排一排的房舍几乎家家大门紧闭挂着锁，有些锁已经生锈了。小胖家的老屋屋顶西侧陷落成了空洞，一堵倾斜的土墙用两根木棍支撑着，一堵土墙上半部分早已坍塌了，院子里长满了密集的野蒿杂草，村里人十多年没见过他家人回来了。门前肆无忌惮生长着的野草代替了柴堆、粪堆，惊扰了的一只松鼠从门前的杂草丛里串出，惊起的几只鸟叫着飞向了另一棵树枝上。
（二）
正午走到村东的小河边，河床及河的两边全被杂乱无章的野草密密麻麻的遮挡住了，看不见路了，一片蛙声证明着小河仍在四季流淌。几棵大树还在，树冠伸展成了一把大伞，遮挡住了直泻而下的阳光，树叶的缝隙中洒下的阳光刺得我眼睛恍惚起来了，这儿曾是村里妇女的洗衣池，孩子的戏水乐园，也是村里人走着去镇上购买日用品的必经小道。
喂完猪，灶房收拾妥当，把男人、孩子的脏衣裳、脏鞋放进脸盆里，拿起窗台上的洗衣粉，来到小河边，一人占有一块河两边平滑的洗衣石，脱了鞋光脚伸进水里，用劲搓洗起来。大嫂和三婶面对面拉着家常，互相说着从地里头回来急急忙忙自家做的啥早饭，大毛的母亲边洗男人穿的衬衣边骂，穿在身上要了几次死活都扒不下来，白衬衣穿成黑衬衣了，像猪一样，老娘能洗干净吗？三奶奶不知接话说了句什么，哄堂大笑声震得水里的小鱼急得乱串。
孩子们拿着罐头瓶在下游正聚精会神的捉小鱼、捉蝌蚪，不知谁家的小孩偷偷的跑到上游去了，踩踏的泥水顺流而下，在女人大嗓门的呵斥声中，赶紧上了岸。
双手背在身后的三大爷过河要去镇上，二嫂猛然想起家里没火柴了，早上生火还是去孩子奶奶家拿的火柴，就让三大爷捎个脚。掏钱时才记起换洗衣服时忘了把钱装兜里了。三大爷啊，回来我再给你钱，三大爷的回应声从对面的小坡上飘了过来。
我呆呆的注视着被草覆盖了的小河，陷在泥沼里的洗衣石，小心翼翼地拨开河床的青草，河水依然清澈见底，被野草绊住了脚步，走得很轻很轻，仿佛怕打破了村庄死一般的静。河水啊，你什么时候悄无声息的带走了曾经一代又一代聚集着说笑声、洗衣声、嬉闹声合成的村庄交响乐呢？
（三）
黄昏时，我走出老屋，来到村北的大路上，这条路的两边向北延伸全是村里的庄家地，这条土路曾是村里最繁忙的交通要道。
吃饱了青草的羊群，拉着木梨的黄牛，串铃声和赶牛羊声响彻一路，望见家的牛羊总会欢快的叫上几声。后面跟着一溜担着两大捆苜蓿的男人们，一闪一闪的扁担声淹没在牛羊的叫声里。我推着独轮车跟在羊群后，苜蓿压的独轮车 “吱呀吱呀”地响。
对门的二爸扯着嗓子喊着二娘赶紧给牛铡草，前院三婶家的三丫“唠唠唠”地叫着喂猪，后院的大嫂“咕咕咕”地叫着自家的鸡上架。大胖又疯玩的回家迟了，可能没有牵着牛去河边饮水，被他那五大三粗的父亲在院子里打的鬼哭狼叫，听到哭声的其它孩子顺从地干起了家务活。
等牛栓槽、羊进圈、狗钻窝、鸡上架，男人女人们才从灶房的蒸笼里拿起一个馒头，从案板下剥根葱，边吃边向村里的石碾子走去，这儿是劳作了一天的乡亲们休息拉家长的聚会地。月光皎洁明亮，三奶奶抱着不满周岁的小孙子也来凑热闹了，抽着旱的三大爷烟胳膊下夹着炕席紧跟身后。把席子铺在光洁的地上，刚还东家长西家短窃窃私语的几位妇女见状围坐在炕席周边，逗着席子上乱爬的孩子，孩子清脆的笑声化去了大人们一天的疲劳。
大毛的爸妈不知又为了啥鸡毛蒜皮的小事吵起来了，全村都听得到两口子的大嗓门声。三大爷边向身边的小石头上磕烟锅灰边嘟囔了一句，那两口子又闷得慌了，非得吵一架才心里觉着舒服，女人们接过话茬又议论开了。几个后生为了一则从广播上听到的新闻正在争论不休，几个上了年纪的男人偶尔插一句。
夜深了，三叔抽完一根用孩子作业本卷的烟，说明天还要耕一大晌麦茬地呢，得回了。像命令似的，一下子就断了话题，起身回各家。在“吱呀”的关门声中，村庄安静的沉睡了。
同样的黄昏时分，村里的几户老人家不再张家长李家短地闲聊了，早早的关了院门，不知是在家看电视还是睡了，亦是靠在炕头，在黑暗中睁着眼，回想着从前子女缠绕的日子？整个村庄静悄悄的，静得太可怕，静得让我窒息。
（四）
一觉醒来，天已大亮。
儿时如果在这个时间才醒来，耽搁了农活，小孩不是被大人揍一顿就是大骂一顿，大人还会在满村人的心中印上懒汉的骂名，村里小孩都会早起的。
在老屋的土炕上，这时才醒来，虽然没人监督，心里总觉着有点不安。不得已给自己找了个借口，是村里没有叫醒人的“闹铃”了。
那时的黎明时分，只要村里一只公鸡带头啼鸣，就会带动整个村里的公鸡此起彼伏的打鸣声。女人们最先穿衣下炕去灶房，风箱声从村南头一直响到村北头。接着是男人们打开自家大门声、去牛圈添草声、从房檐下取下牛犋声。天亮了，还不见孩子起来，灶房里的女人就会大声喊着孩子的小名，声音大的连村里其它不上学的小孩都被吵醒了。等会如果还不见小崽子们起来，就会走到窗跟前大骂起来，卧在孩子身边的小猫吓得都跳下了炕，再瞌睡的孩子也会一骨碌爬起来。村巷里，已经有早起的孩子站在门道里喊着大胖、三丫一起上学了。
今早出了老屋，左右前后一看，没见到一个人，迟起的愧疚感这时稍稍的稀释了一些。
漫无目的的走，不知不觉就走到了村小学。村里的小学早就撤并了，不可能是听到孩子郎朗的读书声引到这儿了，只是本能的走到这里了。红砖青瓦的几座教室还在，从锈迹斑斑的铁门缝望进去，校园里长满了齐人高的野草，教室破败不堪，窗户上的玻璃无一幸存，操场上木头篮球杆只挺立着一个，篮环不见了踪影。
听母亲说，本来还有几个年轻人想在村里发展，照顾父母，但在撤校并校一刀切下，孩子的上学却成了主要问题，小小年纪就要去镇上住校上学，还不如父母去城市里打工，孩子带在身边上学，权衡一下，只能留下老人了。村里没了学校，一如家里没了孩子，这就是我的村庄一个小孩都见不到的原因了，这也是村里只能听到送老人去世时的唢呐声，而听不到小孩降生的啼哭声了。

我与故乡作文
“故乡”一个多么可爱又熟悉的词，对故乡的记忆是那么清晰，仿佛犹在昨昔。我以为故乡永远是那么朴素，那么简单，可是时间正悄悄的改变着一切，我的故乡变了。
每次回到家乡，却没有感到喜悦，看着陌生的景物，有的只是淡淡的忧伤。或许我无法体会文天祥的灭国之痛，但是“儿童相见不相识，笑问客从何处来”的悲哀，似乎正是我这“异乡客人”的写照。
我的故乡变了。故乡的池塘不见了，我曾经抓过蝌蚪的池塘不见了。取而代之的是一个正在施工的“怪物”。弟弟说我肯定记错了，他从不知道这里曾有一片池塘。我的池塘被人忘了。故乡的人多了一把锁，以前家里人出门时，从不锁门，总是让对面的邻居帮忙看一下，邻居总是热情的说“好”。可是现在，出门买菜都要把门锁了，对门的.邻居竟不知姓甚名谁，即使在路上遇见也是素不相识的“陌路人”。
