有一天，您给我听写生字词。写着写着，您突然指着一个字很严肃的说：“这一个字的笔画好像不对吧，要不，我们查查字典吧。”当时我不屑地想：“不就是一个区区小字的笔画嘛，还要这么麻烦，妈妈您可真麻烦。”虽然我很不情愿，但我还是查了字典。结果——那个字的笔画我写错了。您语重心长地教育我说：“学习就要一丝不苟。你看看这一个字，不就错了?不怕一万，就怕万一。如果在考试时让你写这一个字的笔画，你不就丢分啦?所以啊，以后可不能这么粗心大意了，遇到拿不准的问题，就得查一查、问一问，要有打破沙锅问到底的精神。”我一边改错，一边小鸡啄米般的点头。
从此，我在遇到“拦路虎”时，总会想尽办法消灭它，而不是从它身边绕过去，在学习时，也养成了善于查资料的好习惯。

在放学回家的路上，我一边走一边想：今天是母亲节，我要给妈妈一件礼物，给她一个惊喜。
我一连走了好几家小商店，准备挑选一件物美价廉的小礼物送给妈妈。最后我在一家鲜花店前收住了脚步，只见花店门口贴着一张海报，上面写着：为了庆祝母亲节，本店鲜花大减价，6元一束。店老板高喊道：“良机不可错过，快来给你妈妈买一束吧!”我心里一动，要是能买束鲜花送给妈妈，她一定会夸我的。想到妈妈高兴的样子，我有些飘飘然了。我拿出钱包，可看里面只有5元钱了，都怪我平时贪吃!我像一只泄了气的皮球，傻傻地看着别人选购鲜花，心里别提有多羡慕了!
我垂头丧气地回到家，一进门就闻到一股浓香，一定是妈妈做糖醋排骨了!我来不及换鞋，就三步并作两步窜到厨房，抓起一块排骨就往嘴里送，竟然没注意到，脚踩在了妈妈择菜后留下的垃圾上，厨房的地面上留下了一个个黑鞋印。
看着这些黑鞋印，我灵机一动，心想：我可以帮妈妈打扫卫生，算是对妈妈的节日祝贺。说干就干，一向饭来张口，衣来伸手的我，拿起了笤帚，把厨房打扫的干干净净。
妈妈看见了，高兴地说：“我的乖孩子，今天怎么这么勤快呀?”我笑着说出了自己的想法，妈妈欣喜地说：“孩子，你长大了!”

说干就干，我跑到阳台拿起扫把，马不停蹄地扫起来。扫了不大会儿，就热得满头大汗，我顿时体会到了妈妈平时的辛苦，看来我以后要保持好家里的卫生，让妈妈多休息一会儿，干她自己想干的事。
看着有些地方扫得不干净，我又拿起扫把扫了一遍，累得我气喘吁吁，腰酸背痛，脑子里只想着“休息”两个字，于是我便躺在沙发上休息了一会儿。
我心想：光扫地还不够，要不就再拖一遍地吧。我先端来一盆水，再把拖把浸满水，拧干，接着开始拖地。开始我向前跑着拖，刚拖过去，脚一踩留下深深的脚印，再拖一遍还是有。这可麻烦了，怎么才能不留脚印呢?我把鞋套找了出来，穿在脚上，随后又想出退着拖的小妙招，不一会儿就把客厅拖得干干净净。我又跑到妈妈房间拖，一开门我惊住了，妈妈房间那么干净，根本不用拖，我忽然又想起自己的房间，妈妈昨天刚给我收拾好，今天就乱糟糟的了，心里顿时觉得非常惭愧，便跑过去把自己的房间打扫得干干净净。
不一会儿，妈妈回来了，看到我把家里打扫得这么干净，她欣慰地露出笑容……

今天是一个特殊的日子，母亲节。就在今天，我突然发现妈妈老了，憔悴了许多。我很内疚，因为这足以证明平时我对妈妈的关心太少了。平时我也想帮妈妈分担一些家务，可是妈妈总是对我说：“你现在的主要任务就是学习。”家里上上下下、里里外外的事都不需要我做。所以，在今天这个特殊的日子里，我起的特别早，帮妈妈干了许多力所能及的家务。可是让我意想不到的是，当妈妈醒来看到这一切的时候竟然哭了，当时的我心里有种说不出的滋味，因为我明白那是感动。
我知道妈妈平时最关心的是我的学习，所以今天我没有让妈妈唠叨，自己便主动学习起来。这也让我突然明白了，平时妈妈对我唠叨的含义。唠叨让人心烦，却使人心暖;唠叨让人反感，却令人幸福;唠叨是平淡的，也是包含着深情的……
