今天是除夕，我们起得很早。一吃完早饭，爸爸家里其他的亲戚成员都陆陆续续回来，准备今晚的除夕大餐，另外今天我们小朋友们也很兴奋，因为也要和大人一样，一起拿香祭拜祖先和神明，祈求长辈们身体健康，万事如意，祈求小朋友们懂事乖巧，学业进步。
祭拜祖先和神明后，我就帮姑姑，奶奶备菜和切菜，准备中饭和今晚的除夕围炉年 夜 饭。今年回家团圆大大小小共有23位家人。所以要准备的菜也很多。奶奶、妈妈、伯母，婶婶和姑姑们都在忙着分配年夜菜工作，爸爸和伯父及叔叔们则在准备晚上的廖家春晚节目彩排。我和弟弟则帮忙照顾其他比我们小的小孩，一个二岁半和5岁半的表弟和堂弟。
时间在忙碌间悄悄的过去了，各样年菜也陆陆续续完成，好棒喔~就要吃年 夜 饭了。我和表姐一起为大家介绍，昨晚和姑姑一起取的年菜菜名。我们一共做了23道菜。饭菜很丰盛，看起来就相当好吃。有日本的帝王蟹、清蒸大虾、甘宝鸡、炒面、佛跳墙、卤香蹄膀、香蒸干贝、凉拌鲍鱼、长寿菜和各式蔬菜等等。还没介绍完，我口水都快流下来了，大家迫不及待的想要快点吃饭了。这些菜都好有家乡的'风味，真好吃。
大家吃完饭后。春晚节目就开始表演了。我们每个家庭都会有代表，表演节目，表演后爷爷都会发小红包奖励我们喔。我表演的是准备好的英语演讲、一首古诗及一段钢琴演奏曲。弟弟表演的是小提琴曲和一首古诗。表演期间，爷爷和奶奶心急，一心一意的想要先发红包。所以爷爷就穿着”财神爷”的服装跳出来发红包。实在是太喜气了～感觉真的财神爷来到家中了。当我们从爷爷手上拿红包的时候要说吉祥话。其中，我觉得最可爱的节目是海辰叔叔和两个可爱的堂表弟，他们分别扮成孙悟空和小猴子。表演完后，我们还玩了宾果游戏和猜谜游戏。每个得奖者都有红包可以领，真的很紧张刺激。
