摘 要：情感因素对英语学习效果有着重大影响。探讨了在英语教学中如何渗透情感教学，实施情感教学策略，克服情感障碍，以调动英语学习者的积极情感，增强教学效果。
关键词：情感因素；情感教学；策略
认知、情绪和情感在人的心理活动过程中是相互关联的。多年来，我国的英语教学只注重培养认知技能，没能对课堂教学中的情感因素予以足够的重视，忽略了情绪、情感对教学的影响，使得一些学生在学习的过程中出现了焦虑、恐惧、厌学的情绪。本文通过对影响外语学习情感因素的分析，探讨了在英语教学中如何实施情感教学策略，以调动学习者的积极情感，从而增强教学效果。
一、影响外语学习的情感因素
在二语教学中，学习者的情感状态――感情（emotion）、感觉（feeling）、情绪（mood）、态度（attitude）不仅直接影响他们的学习效果而且影响教学质量。根据Jane Arnold 和H. D. Brown，外语教学中的情感因素有两类：一类是属于学习者个人的情感因素，包括焦虑、控制、动机等；第二类是学习者个体之间以及学习者与教师之间的情感因素。而导致学习者产生学习障碍的情感因素主要有态度、动机、自信心和语言焦虑等个人情感变量。
态度是一个人内心的准备状态，它直接影响到个体的行为。学生上课的表现与学习态度是密不可分的。持积极态度的学生上课较活跃，成绩也比较出色。动机则是内部的动力，它直接推动学生进行学习活动，它表现为学习的意向、愿望或兴趣等形式，对学习起着推动作用。自信心是对自己能力和知识水平的肯定看法。自信心强的人对自己持积极的态度，在英语交际中他们不怕犯错误，不为语言错误感到窘迫难堪。语言焦虑就是学生在用不熟练的外语进行交际时由于对自己的过低评价而感到的一种畏惧。譬如，在英语课堂上，学生担心自己所掌握的语言知识不足或因语言不够流利正确而被别人嘲笑，所以产生畏惧。这种焦虑的心理负担易削弱学习者的学习动机，产生消极情感，并对外语学习过程、交际能力及自信心产生负面影响，给语言学习造成恶性循环。
此外，学习者个体的情感变量在很大程度上是由他的自我形象决定的，即他对自己的学习能力以及自己在别人心目中的地位的主观评价。而态度、动机和自信等情感因素是否产生积极的作用，往往取决于自我评价。自信且具有良好的自我形象的学生相对于那些易焦虑且自我形象不佳者在外语学习方面持有强烈的学习动机和积极的学习态度。
二、实施情感教学策略，调动学习者积极的情感因素
实施情感教学策略既可以培养学生的积极情感，也可以促进学生健全的人格。由于学习者学习语言的态度和动机不同，同样的语言输入会产生不同的效果。如何帮助学生提高自信，克服语言焦虑在心理上产生的屏障，已成为教学过程中需要认真考虑的问题。实施情感教学就是重视学生的情感过程，有意识地激发并调动学生英语学习的积极情感，通过师生间的情感交往，形成良好的课堂气氛，培养学习者的兴趣和自信心，增强学习动机。
1.情感教学的渗透
消极情感严重影响了教学效果。学生只有对英语产生了兴趣才能积极思维，踊跃发言，主动把教师的教学目的转化成自己学习的需要。所以教师要做好情感教学渗透，适时引导学生将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机，在课堂上合理激发学生的学习动机，如好奇心和成功欲。在教学方式上要做到新颖性、形象性、生动性，如，通过幽默故事和趣闻轶事创设愉悦的情境，克服消极情感，降低学习焦虑。通过各种互动活动，如，与学生平等对话、对学生的回答予以及时的肯定等缩短师生间的距离感，使他们真正感受到尊重和平等。在课外学习中，加强对学生自主学习策略的指导，强调研究性学习，给学生提供自主学习的时间和空间，激发学习动机。
2.实施情感教学策略
多媒体环境下的大学英语课堂应该集情感性与多彩性为一体。课堂中应通过拟制具体情境，给学生增添语言学习的乐趣，减少交流的顾虑。根据情景需求组织讨论，推行小组合作学习，鼓励学生在活动中互相协作。平等合作的情感关系是英语教学的前提。根据建构主义理论，教师不仅应该是学生学习过程的促进者，也是学生学习的辅导者和合作者。因此，教师应把自己视如课堂活动的参与者，通过营造平等融洽的课堂气氛，与学生共享知识和经验。现代教学论专家斯卡特金提出的“积极的情感背景原则”着重强调教学气氛的情感状态。其交流原则是公平平等，面向全体学生，将传统教学中师生之间单项的交流改变为师生、生生之间的多面多项交流。这不仅提高了学生参与课堂的主动性和自我控制能力，也促使学生形成良好的人际关系，达到交际的目的，提高了教学效率。
因此，教师在课堂教学中应充分开发学生的情感资源，培养学生积极的情感态度，将他们的认知过程与情绪感受统一起来，弥补学生网上协作学习的不足。在情感教学中也可以采用情境教学的方法，如运用具体生动的场景来激发学生主动学习的兴趣，提高学习效率。教师可以巧妙组织教学的内容，创设愉快的情景使学生在一种良好的.心境中学习，引发学习兴趣。同时，教师也可以联系课内、拓展课外，通过适当的设疑使学生产生新奇感，激发他们的求知欲。在探究解疑的过程中使学生产生适度的焦虑，从而积极地参与到认知过程中。对于学生的认知所得，教师应通过适度的检测评价使他们产生成功感，并让他们体会到学习的艰苦和乐趣。教师也可以通过精心设计问题和对课堂活动的总结来引发学生积极的情感体验。同时，开展内容丰富、形式多样的第二课堂活动，培养学生的语言情感交流能力。
在教学中，教师的激发策略、学生的参与状况、学生的情绪三者是互相联系并行于课堂教学之中的。这既是教师调节学生情绪促进教学的过程，也是学生积极配合教师，师生互动的过程。所以教师应该正确对待学生的错误，采用积极的纠错策略。根据S. P. Corder的“错误分析理论”，教师要分清学生错误的不同类型，有策略地予以纠正，不能挫伤学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，使学生逐步学会使用正确的语言，掌握真正的语言交际能力。教师要学会赏识和承认学生所做的努力，鼓励他们继续努力。
总之，情感因素对英语教学效果起着极其重要的影响，探究情感问题有助于学生学习潜能的发挥，提高学习效果。实践证明，积极的情感不仅可以改变学生的行为，有助于认知活动的深入进行，而且可以激发他们的学习动机和学习兴趣。积极的情感介入也可以促进教师与学生之间的相互信任和良好的合作关系，增强课堂教学的活跃性。因此，实施情感教学可以最大限度地发挥学生的学习潜能，为成功教学奠定良好的基础。

周一早晨，我冒雨走进校门，看见教室门口站了一位四十多岁的中年妇女。她个子不高，黑而瘦 ，身上的衣服微微有些发湿。与她交谈得知，她想把她的小儿子转到我们何村小学读三年级。我原本是认识她的，她的家在何村乡偏远山区里。她是四个孩子的母亲，从云南远嫁过来，丈夫有些弱智，家里的一切全靠她一人打理。我教过她的大女儿程程，程程一度想辍学，在我和吴遂学校长的反复劝说下，才勉强读完初中。
贫穷和劳累，使她看上去比实际年龄要老一些。当她与学校沟通好后，竟然骑着农用三轮摩托车想带孩子离开。我赶紧走过去问原因 ，她急促地说：“我们没带书，我带着他回家拿。”
我诚恳地对她说： “你把孩子留下，我安排他入班，你回家帮他取!”
她感激地对我笑笑，骑着三轮车飞驰而去。两堂时间，几十公里崎岖的山路，她急匆匆离去，又急匆匆赶来。
我看她手里只拿了孩子的课本，毛笔，毛笔纸，墨水，课外读物等学习用品一样也没有。“上课要用，没有这些东西，怎么能行呢?”我无奈地对她笑了笑。

当她把这些物品送来时，已经是中午十二点。虽然她穿着雨衣，但一上午的奔波劳累，使她看上去疲惫不堪。我再三挽留她吃完午饭再走。她却说：“没事，为了孩子，再苦再累也能忍受。”
这就是母亲，一位普通的含辛茹苦的母亲，为了孩子不怕雨淋，不怕受冻，吃再大的苦，受再大的罪，心也甘，情也愿。
下午放学，我正组织走读生离校，却看见她的孩子拿着书哭着跑出教室。我追上他，他哭着对我说：“老师，我想家，我想我妈。”我赶忙把他搂进怀里，轻轻拍拍他的肩，说一些安慰他的话。当他情绪稳定后，我把他带到餐厅，帮他打饭，看他安静地端碗吃饭。
孩子毕竟是孩子，刚刚还哭闹不止，片刻功夫便平静的像什么事也没有发生过。虽然我用得时间不多，但效果却很明显：你的一个眼神，一个动作，一个微笑，一个拥抱，真的会改变一个人，尤其是一个孩子。
由此，我想到了双语学校的马英利老师，一个年轻漂亮的二十五六岁的女教师。她不仅是她家里孩子的母亲，也是全班45名学生的母亲。
我和马老师相识，是因为她是我儿子的班主任。开学后的第二周，她邀请我去她班上一堂有关“感恩”的课。我欣然答应，当我讲完课准备离开时，她向我深深地鞠了一躬：“豪天妈妈，谢谢你!”她对人真诚和尊敬的态度，令我肃然起敬。像她这么年轻女孩，这么懂得感恩的人在我们这里真是不多见。
在给马老师的学生上课前，我提前到她班，做些准备工作。我看她对待学生，脸上始终带着微笑，学生问幼稚可笑的问题，她不厌其烦地耐心回答。她早上6:00到学，晚上10:00左右才下班回家。她不仅要给学生上课，还要陪学生出操、站路队、午休、吃饭、查寝，一整天的时间几乎都花费在同学身上。马老师是把对自己孩子的爱，全部都奉献给班里的学生，而我的儿子就是其中受益者之一。
我相信像她这样的母亲有很多，她们把自己的大部分时间都花在工作上，对自己的孩子却无暇顾及。但她们一点也不吝啬她们伟大的母爱 ，把这些爱无私地奉献给了他人。
记得我生大儿子后，不到三个月就开始上班。每次进课堂前，满脑子都是孩子的哭声。孩子稍大，我拿着课本往教室走，孩子抓着裤腿在后面哭，我拉开孩子的手，不管孩子如何在后面哭，自己像冲锋陷阵的战士，不顾一切得奔到课堂上。上课时，我全身心投入，把自己的感情全部都倾注给了学生。
作为一名母亲，为了工作，我们不得不舍弃自己的孩子，全身心投入到工作之中去。而千千万万个农村妇女，为了生存，不得不把自己的幼儿留在农村，她们辛辛苦苦地到大城市打拼。我们的职业不仅仅是母亲，还是祖国的建设者。我相信：无论我们从事那种职业，我们的内心一定是淡定而从容的，因为我们是母亲。

the damage was everywhere. a personal landmark, the granada hills kaiser permanente medical center, collapsed. the site where i had volunteered as a teen advisor 鈥?lobbying for and improving the quality of the teen health clinic while working one- on-one with underprivileged, problem teenagers 鈥?no longer eisted. only an empty lot and the memory of a valuable and productive medical and psychological outreach program for troubled youth remained.
as much as northridge and its surrounding regions changed eternally, so did the lives of the victims internally. following this traumatic eperience, i developed a keen awareness of the fragility of life and a newly restored appreciating for the simplest of my old comforts. as vulnerable and edgy as i was with every aftershock that rolled through the area, i consoled myself with reminders of how we were spared.
with a profound sense of gratitude for our relative good fortune, within weeks of the initial quake i volunteered at the american red cross earthquake relief center.
as my family and i rebuilt our home and our lives, i translated for iranian earthquake victims and performed various clerical tasks. yet, my most valuable contribution to the earthquake relief team stemmed from the moral support i was qualified to provide. with my earthquake eperience, i was able to comfort the teary-eyed victims who approached us for help. i gave them the hope and understanding they sought from a primarily out-of-state staff. i benefited too: my work for the red cross aroused my curiosity in public interest law.
i had the opportunity to eplore this new interest in the summer when i interned in washington d.c. for congressman howard p. (buck) smith of california. that summer i was responsible for attending meetings and informing the congressmans staff of the issues discussed. one of the issues i followed dealt with a proposed guideline to prohibit religious epression in the workplace due to its allegedly offensive nature. defining such acts as wearing a star of david or praying silently before a meal as religious harassment, the bill attempted to equate these acts with verbal or seual harassment.
still the most fulfilling eperience of my internship was serving the mr. smiths constituents when they wrote, called, or visited our washington office. their concerns covered many issues, including city maintenance and the enforcement of fcc regulations on local radio stations; yet, most cries for help grew out of the january 17 disaster.
my eperience in the earthquake proved to be useful in my internship. after all, i was working with mr. earthquake himself. as the only intern from northridge, i was assigned to the earthquake project. i acted as a liaison between constituents and the small business administration, federal emergency management agency, and other governmental agencies that handled quake reconstruction monies. because of my eperience, i was again able to empathize with victims in a way that neither the staff nor the other interns could. as a result of my work, i gained a more profound grasp of the legal process and how it was able to help northridge residents with their post earthquake problems.
the january 17 earthquake dramatically changed my world 鈥?both inside and out. in the red cross shelter and in congressman smiths office, my career ambitions took shape: public interest law grabbed me. now i want to help those who cannot purchase legal services, not only by providing the empathy gained during my own trying eperiences, but also by using the skills and knowledge i will acquire at the abc law school. with this preparation, i look forward to helping others escape their legal or bureaucratic twilight zones.

Strictly speaking, I never took a sentence as my proverb until I heard the classic words in that “Life is a box of chocolate, you never know what gonna get.” Although it is not profound enough, it does change my life by giving me hope, it does inspire me by showing me various possibilities or consequences.
I still remember the astonishment when I went though our college gate. This old, sherry school would be my campus where I would spend my golden years. I lay on my bed thinking of my college life. To be honest, I totally couldn’t accept the disparity between the reality and my dreaming university. At that time, I felt my whole world was gray. Certainly, I did nothing meaningful in my first year.
Occasionally, I heard the sentence from my friend’s letter answering my endless complain. He draw a delicate card writing “Life is a box of chocolate, you never know what gonna get.” Initially, I paid little attention to that, but I did remember it. At the same time, I realized that something changed inside me. After I had watched the movie , changes became clear. Having heard this sentence again, it severely shocked me. Gump’s mother was not somebody important. However, she never despaired though she encountered many difficulties. She strongly believed that life is not so bad, and there is still hope. I really convinced she not only told Gump, but also said to me “Life is a box of chocolate…”
For quite a long time, I kept turning it over in my mind. How could I so sure I would get a bitter chocolate at the very beginning of my college life! How could I deny myself without trying best! How could I ignore the various possibilities of my magic world! How could I give up myself just because of disparity of reality! How could I!
From then on, I kept going my own way, despite, frequently, I felt lonely, aggrieved and worn-out.
Frankly, university life is much more complicated and harsher than previous life. During my growth, I had to face up to strange people and various and unfamiliar surroundings by myself. I scared, I cried. But, finally, by telling myself “Keep going, keep looking for your chocolate!” I got thr
