the following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. in the first few days i want to climb mount hua shan with several friends to refresh ourselves. then i tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates(老同学). besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, i will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation.
in short, i want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. whatever i do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.

我的寒假生活丰富多彩：学习、阅读、徒步、打球、骑车……但这个寒假生活多了一个活动――每天坚持做早餐。
“叮铃铃……”，闹钟响了，我一咕噜翻身下床，麻利地穿好衣服，开始了寒假第一天做早餐的快乐旅程。
按照昨晚拟定好的计划，今日早餐是牛奶和荷包蛋煮汤圆。
我先来到厨房，接了半锅冷水，放在炉具上，盖上锅盖，紧接着开火烧水。我一直害怕开火，以为火会烧到手。怎么办?我心跳加速，手也不听使唤了。万事开头难，“不怕!”我心一横，深呼吸了一口，用手往左一扭燃气开关，“五、四、三、二、一!”我默默数完五声后，“呼”地一声火燃起来了。我如释重负地松开了手，“哦也，成功了!”我激动地一蹦三尺高。
三分钟过后，水开了，我揭开锅盖，拿起一个鸡蛋，在中间打了一个窝，两只手拿着两边，使劲一分，蛋壳分成了两半，蛋黄和蛋清掉进了锅里。如法炮制，我又把两个鸡蛋打进了锅里。开中火，透明的蛋清渐渐变成了白色，包住了蛋黄。我正看得津津有味，猛然想起汤圆还没煮，连忙把火关到最小，拿着汤圆袋子就往锅里倒。哎呀，糟糕，我倒了许多个汤圆进去。“是不是……是不是太多了?”我自言自语道。但汤圆已经下锅，管它三七二十一，煮熟再说。为了不让鸡蛋和汤圆粘锅，我用铲子在锅底刮了几下。利用煮熟汤圆和荷包蛋的时间，我用微波炉打热三碗大小不一的牛奶。
早餐煮好了，我用小碗，妈妈用中碗，爸爸用大碗。吃着香嫩的荷包蛋和香甜的汤圆，喝着热腾腾的牛奶，爸爸妈妈竖起大拇指鼓励我：“今天的早餐很丰盛哦。好的开始是成功的一半，期待明天的早餐更丰盛哦!”品尝着自己的劳动成果，享受着爸爸妈妈的表扬，我觉得今天的早餐格外香甜可口。

My Spring Festival
My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.
On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.
On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.
On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.
