我以往看过这样一句话：“我今方年少，理应展翅飞”，此刻的我想再加一句“还应热情烧”。是的，刚踏上大学征程的我们，拥有青春，拥有活力，拥有活力，应当展翅飞翔，应当活力燃烧，让自我的生活红火起来！
我是一名来自陕西的学生，之前从未听说过“hz师范学院”，可上这所大学是我心甘情愿的，自我的选择，自我负责。
我的到hz来汽车转火车，火车又转汽车的共乘车30多个小时。我一路欣赏沿途风景，计划我的大学精彩生活，热情地来到hz师院。以后，那里就是我挥洒热情，努力奋斗的阵地了。
我想我们大家都是带着父母的期待，亲人的祝福，教师的教诲，同学的鼓励来到大学的，但我不明白大家是否都有我这样的热情。真的，我真的是心潮澎湃。尤其是当学姐学长们亲切接待欧文，热情帮忙我时，我感到很温暖，身处异乡之苦渐渐淡忘，虽有水土不服但并无大碍。学姐告诉我，这是一届带一届的传承精神，我听了之后很兴奋的说：“是这样吗？那么说我明年也会以学姐的身份去接下一届新生啰！”大家可能会笑话我，“学姐”想到这个称呼，想到明年我就是学姐了我就特有精神。就这样，我在教师学姐的帮忙下，很快地适应了学校环境，活力地开始了我的大学生涯。
迄今为止的一个多月大学生活让我学了很多，明白了很多。hz是江南水乡历史文化古城，安谧闲适，简便自然，素有“笔墨江南，清丽hz”美誉。hzshi院是最近几年迅速发展起来的大学，环境优美，学校生活色彩缤纷。她虽然不能和繁华大都市和梦想中的象牙塔相比，但让人享受生活学习乐趣，独有一份自然。
在回头说，我是被调剂到新闻班的，可这并没有影响我学习，生活的热情。虽然这样貌我暂时无法向心中的梦想靠进，但学习新闻也是一件别有风味的事，能够再培养其他的学习兴趣，学一门知识技巧。
我，爱冲动，爱幻想，有报复，有热情，但有迷惘。记得刚开学时就有人对我说过：不要把大学生活想得太完美，它也有让你感到无助，枯燥，无聊的时候。的确，身处异地的我，独自在这求学，应对陌生的一切，应对强烈的竞争，应对生活琐碎，有些无所适从。但我告诉自我：hz师院是我的选择，我要认真对待自我，认真对待生活，要努力让自我过的好。能登上金字塔的生物有两种：鹰和蜗牛。虽然我不能像雄鹰那样一飞冲天但我能够像蜗牛那样凭自我的耐力慢慢前行。我相信，我能够做到，拥有一颗年轻的心，热情的心，继续燃烧。

我以为初中甚至高中新学期每个学生的第一次班会就是“新学期计划”，没想到来到大学还会有这样的班会。然而，每一个大一新生来到完全陌生的大学环境都如在黑暗中探索。但提前给自己定一个奋斗目标如在黑暗中点亮一盏明灯，时刻提醒指引我们前进。之前通过学长学姐们的经验交流，可以避免我们走弯路。但每个人都是一个独立存在的个体，不可能完全照搬经验，应该有自己的大致规划。
一、认真学习
只要我们还是学生，学习总应该放在比较重要的位置。都说大一应该打下夯实的高数和英语基础。所以在这两门科目上投入更多的精力是无可厚非的。上了一周的高数可，我感觉确实有一定难度，课前的预习和课后的习题巩固相当重要。希望通过自己踏实的学习在高数上不要挂科。马上就要开始安排晨读了，这是学习英语，练习英语口语的最佳机会。早起确实很难，但我作为学习部的一员，我不仅要以身作则更应让其他同学在晨读中有所所获。我们一周只有两天晚上有课，晚上的大把时间应该充分利用起来。去图书馆，参加各种讲座活动都可以收获很多!其它课程我想上课认真听讲，考前记下重点，考试问题应该不大。
二、放宽心态

许多老艺人在收徒弟时总是教导他们说：“做艺先做人”，就是提醒他们要时刻坚守道德，学会做人。我们作为大学生，作为未来社会的劳动者，自身专业素质能力固然重要，但也决不能忽视德的问题。社会是一个群体，需要人人都为之服务他才能正常前进，我们自身也才能得到发展，这是个互相制约，互相促进的关系。“要做学问先做人”，如果一个人没有基本的道德意识，那他的学问越高，很可能对社会的威胁越高，比如现在的网络犯罪大都是些高学历的人干的事。
四、扩大交际
刚来到大学时，我与许多人一样对大学生活充满了太多的好奇和憧憬，丰富多彩的大学世界让人眼花缭乱。俗话说：“外行看热闹，内行看门道”，我决定去看看门道，于是我积极参加各种有益活动，加入学生会、社团等组织，在这些活动中我进一步了解了大学生活，锻炼了自己的能力，认识了许多很有工作能力的人，向他们讨教为人处事的方法。特别要指出的是我学习的是中文，以后很有可能要靠“笔杆子”吃饭。所以要加强写作练习，我积极参加各种征文比赛，并向我校《试翼》《商苑》及校外媒体投稿。而在学生会和社团，亲自参加组织了一些较大型的活动，在与其他人合作中，在与学校其他部门的交流中，积累了一定的工作经验，锻炼了自己的交际能力，扩展了交往空间。当然在参加各种活动的同时，还不能忽视学习，毕竟学生的第一要务是学习。

Today I would like to begin with a story。 There was once a physicaltherapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census aboutmountain gorillas。 These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from allover the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being putinto the zoo。 She went there out of curiosity， but what she saw strengthened herdetermination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautifulcreatures。 She witnessed a scene， a scene taking us to a place we never imagedwe've ever been， where in the very depth of the African rainforest， surroundedby trees， flowers and butterflies， the mother gorillas cuddled their babies。
Yes， that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies， called Gorillasin the Mist， based on a true story of Mrs。 Diana Fossey， who spent most of herlifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of herlife。
To me， the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts asa timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the costof our eco-environment。
Today， we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many newproblems。 On the one hand， tourism， as one of the most promising industries inthe 21st century， provides people with the great opportunity to see everythingthere is to see and to go any place there is to go。 It has bee a lifestyle forsome people， and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth。 It hasthe magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity。 But on theother hand， many problems can occur - natural scenes aren't natural anymore。Deforestation to heat lodges are devastating Nepal。 Oil spills from touristboats are polluting Antarctica。 Tribal people are forsaking their native musicand dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks。
All these appalling facts have brought us to the realization that we can nolonger stand by and do nothing， because the very thought of it has been erodingour resources。 Encouragingly， the explosive growth of global travel has puttourism again in the spotlight， which is why the United Nations has made the year of ecotourism， for the first time to bring to the world's attention thebenefits of tourism， but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment。
Now every year， many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations arereceiving donations - big notes， small notes or even coins - from housewives，plumbers， ambulance drivers， salesmen， teachers， children and invalids。 Some ofthem cannot afford to send the money but they do。 These are the ones who drivethe cabs， who nurse in hospitals， who are suffering from ecological damage intheir neighborhood。 Why? Because they care。 Because they still want their MotherNature back。 Because they know it still belongs to them。
This kind of feeling that I have， ladies and gentlemen， is when it feelslike it， smells like it， and looks like it ， it's all ing from a scene to beremembered， a scene to recall and to cherish。
The other night， as I saw the moon linger over the land and before it wassent into the invisible， my mind was filled with songs。 I found myself hummingsoftly， not to the music， but to something else， someplace else， a placeremembered， a place untouched， a field of grass where no one seemed to have beenexcept the deer。
And no matter who we are， what we do and where we go， in our minds， there'salways a scene to remember， a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight forit。

My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.
Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.
I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of
people’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cauuse in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure
every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.
First， I would like to know， what does your destiny offer you? Happiness， wisdom， a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon， he would probably had said，”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair， but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say. Till now， we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads， new subway lines， public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors， large blocks of grass fields， and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those， there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example， more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment， for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more， Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances， could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question， ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us， I mean the Chinese youth. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us society is just like a ship， and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is， but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning， however， when we wake up， we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing， most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.
