一、一秒钟的事写三百字
还是针对作文写不长的一种技巧训练：用三百字来描写1秒钟内发生的事。如关于破校运会跳高纪录瞬间的描写原本只有几十字：只见某某纵身一跳，一下子飞过横杆，新的校运会纪录诞生了。
怎么变成三百字?可以有条理地加上动作解剖：如何助跑、起跳、翻越、落地;加上联想：往届校运会有人挑战失败，平时如何一次次练习等等;还可以加上细节来充实，起跳前如何与同学们进行眼神交流，成功后同学如何向他祝贺……家长可以找一些1秒钟的素材让孩子进行写作练习，学会了这个技巧还怕考试写不出四五百字吗?
二、一段话里至少出现6个标点
很多孩子不会用标点，习作中常只有逗号句号逗号句号，甚至逗号都没有，把老师读到断气为止。针对这个现象，可以让孩子进行“一段话至少出现6种标点”的技巧训练。比如，。?!……：“”等。
这些标点你的作文中都有吗?没有的话请尝试用起来。经过几次训练后，你会发现孩子的惊人变化：意味深长的句子会写了、人物语言会加进去了，心理活动结合进去了，还会用反问句了，这些句子加进去后，文章当然生动起来。一位作家就曾用这种方法对自己作文写不好的`孩子进行训练，收效明显，进步很快。
三、字数三四五
这个技巧说白了就是学习写短句。学了一段时间写作的孩子容易在作文中写长句，而长句写不好就变成病句。事实上很多作家也是以写短句见长的，像沈从文、汪曾祺。家长要提醒孩子注意控制每句话的字数，建议把十几个字几十个字的长句改成只有三四五个字的短句，孩子们会发现这样的作文有语感会舒服很多。
如某学生的原文：“高高的绿绿的草散发着诱人的清香。一根一根都看得那么清楚，很挺拔的样子。”经指导后改成：“草绿了，高了，散发着清香。一根一根，看得清清楚楚，很挺拔的样子。”是不是很有节奏感?
一位语文老师认为，孩子学习写作一般要走过4个阶段：1、写作并不神秘;2、写作需要技巧;3、写作强调个性;4、写作就是生活。一些孩子在大量读写中，在老师的帮助下会顺利走到第三阶段，甚至第四阶段;但是也有很大一批孩子无法跨越第二阶段。以上的技巧就是针对这些部分孩子。家长完全可以在家里运用以上技巧对孩子进行有针对性的训练。而对于那些已经走到第三、第四阶段的孩子，爸爸妈妈需要做的就是保证他们大量的阅读，鼓励他们的个性创作。

其一，慢一点和快一点。写得像，重在观察与描写。观察是描写的前奏与基础，决定着描写的精确度。孩子下笔随意，写出格式化的外貌，很大一部分原因是缺乏观察与发现。建议“观察慢一点，发现快一点”。
指导孩子“慢”观察，细打量，不要轻易错过能够体现人物特征的细节。在教学中常发现学生观察随意性很强，瞟上一眼就算是观察。然而那些熟悉的面孔，固定的五官搭配，很容易让观察滑入无效的深渊，在形式化走过场的观察中，错漏了对人物特征的把握。观察过程中，“慢”字诀就是最佳的提醒与指导。有个学生笔下的人物，脸上“北斗七星阵”，原来是零星点点的小痣。可以想象，没有慢观察不会有这样细致入微的描写。
再说说发现，就要提示孩子“快”，注重“第一眼印象”，发现人物最为突出，显著的特征。特征，就是笔下人物有别于他人的写作要点，发现的要诀就在“快”字中。“第一眼印象”，就是扑入观察者视线中的，让你过目不忘的特质。它能瞬间留给观察者深刻印象。例如有孩子写老师，就抓住了老师发际线形成英文字母“M”型的特征，给老师起了个绰号——麦当劳叔叔。凡是写到这样的发际线，不用多说，都知道是在写“M”老师，一个任务的独特风格形成了。
在具体操作时，可以先“快”后“慢”，在把握特征后逐渐发现更多不易察觉的细节;也可以快慢穿插结合，互相补充，辅助儿童通过观察与发现做更为周全的写作准备。
其二，少一点和多一点。动笔描写时，不少儿童贪多求全，喜欢一个不落地写。这使得之前的观察与发现失去意义，作前准备与写作脱节，也使得笔下的'人物毫无特点。家长可以通过“少一点和多一点”的对比式指导，帮助孩子解决问题。
“少”和“多”都是针对第一点谈到的人物外貌特征而言。“少”指的是描写的特征要少而精，可以将笔墨集中在之前发现的一到两处。儿童写作有些像“小猴子下山”，什么都想要，都希望写到，哪怕只是凑字数也能引以为豪。写多，多写，其实不难，少写，写好才有练习的意义。我们常发现一些惯用句式容易在惯性思维作用下，轻易在儿童笔尖写出。如：“两只眼睛像黑珍珠”“一个小巧玲珑的鼻子”“一张能说会道的嘴”原因就在于此。写作的意义就在于让笔下人物与众不同，让这些司空见惯的表达排除在仅属于“我”的文字中。外貌特征至多一两处，写的时候不要贪多求全，越是精简越容易突出。
“多”指的是在这一些“点”上施以浓墨重彩，让这个写作点成为人物外貌中最大的亮点，也成为全文中最好的看点。如何做到“多”呢?可以借助工笔细描的方法，是什么样就怎么写;可以借助各种修辞手法，让表达更加生动;可以借助“多”与“少”，甚至是“多”与“无”的对比落差，只突出写特征，让写作重点给读者留存更深刻的印象。这有一些类似中国画中“疏可走马，密不透风”的布局。
其三，集中一点和分散一点。常见的学生习作中，人物外貌描写常集中在一个段落，这一现象折射出写作前构思的缺乏，属于依靠惯性思维的被动式写作。写人的文章，人物描写无疑是重点，完全可以在文章的不同段落，根据表达的需要多次出现。对此提出“集中一点”和“分散一点”相结合的设想。
“集中”是指有集中的，成段的外貌描写，这是大家能掌握的，不再赘言。“分散”指的是在文中的不同段落，都可以有类似的描写，反复多次的出现，能起到特别的表达效果。例如一篇写爸爸的文章，小作者从手的粗糙突出爸爸的勤劳特质。全文中分散多次写了爸爸的手。有集中一段的手部素描;有描写爸爸和孩子进行“掰手腕”游戏时，从孩子感受角度写;有通过别人和爸爸握手时的评价来写，还有通过爸爸自述自己的手为什么这样粗糙来写。分散多次出现，间隔反复地提及，让手成为人物特征的代表，文章也让读者过目不忘。
“分散”不是随意安排，要根据表达的需要。要“散”而不“乱”。首先，“散”的是位置而不是描写的重点，切不可一处一个点;其次，“散”的是各个表达的语句而不是表达的主旨，分散的各处还要集中为突出表达主旨服务;第三，“散”的是形式，“不散”的是意念，是灵动的写作方法，不要有意地分散，该集中时要集中，不要让描写各自为政，文章成为一盘散沙。
